The funniest part of that clip is the announcer saying "you can't just hand the ball off to Moreno"

I was watching the game, and was thinking we were up two scores and needed to keep the ball on the ground. But, I also thought Moreno was bottled up on that play.

When did sense enter into an 18 year olds decision?

Seriously, I have to think Oregeron may have had a bit to do with him choosing Georgia. An awful lot of talk about LSU fans not liking Orgeron and wanting him gone.
My guess is he saw we spread the ball around a lot, and the uncertainty of Orgeron. LSU should have a good year this year, but who knows. There is enough talent to do well. If Orgeron allows his coordinators some freedom you will do well. If he messes with them too much, it could be a long year. We'll have to wait and see.

Yea, well, this is the year that makes or breaks O at LSU IMO.

It will go a long way, for sure, but surely LSU would not fire a coach after only two years. I was surprised when y'all announced hm as your coach, honestly. But I would think you give him at least 4 years, unless the wheels come completely off.

I mean, LSU can easily be 3-4 after the UGA game. However, we have the talent to be 6-0 going into that game.

I just dont think he survives a 5+ loss season.

This implies a comfortable win happened.

No issues? You were down by 20 at halftime

And we also beat that team at a neutral site in case you forgot.

To me, it depends on if LSU is 3-3 or 5-1 heading into that game. Hell, we could be 6-0, but winning at AU has been difficult for us.

The Miami game will set the tone. If LSU is 3-3 when UGA rolls in, it could be a bloodbath.

100% agree with this. I’d much rather face a 4-2 or 3-3 LSU than a 5-1 or 6-0 team. Mainly because of the impact the difference the crowd will have on the game.

Thing is Burrow might be the difference in a 3-3, 4-2 team and a 6-0 team. We'll have to wait and see.

You mean you needed a mulligan after getting beat the first time and got a hobbled beaten up version of them the 2nd time around

I also noticed how you guys glossed over that Nicholls St game I mentioned, not exactly that long ago.

Is that the play where Verne screamed that he didn't have good speed as Moreno out-ran the entire LSU team en route to a TD?

That’s good since Miles and Orgeron call the defense too

But we did beat Nicholl's State and you did lose to Troy. At the end of the day a W is a W and a L is a L.

By 2 points, a 5-6 FCS team

By 3 points, to a 11-2 FBS conference champion.

Maybe you needed it fully spelled out a little better for comparison purposes

So what? We won, you lost. Winning is the end goal, correct? Doesn't really matter how you get there.

We did almost lose to Nichols. It was embarrassing. We lost to Vandy that same year (at home). Thankfully, our team has become significantly more talented since then and our coaches have gotten better as well.
