Ranking the contenders, pretenders for Rivals100 RB Noah Cain

Others are window dressing. Below, we rank the contenders to sign Cain and separate the true contenders from the pretenders.
1. LSU
LSU would have been further down this list if it didn’t recently miss on top running back target John Emery, who committed to Georgia this week. The Tigers have always been a priority for Cain, but the level of interest may not have always been mutual until now. These days, it’s hard to imagine a situation in which the two sides don’t come together. Originally from Louisiana, Cain once admitted the Tigers led his recruitment and has talked openly about a desire to play for the program he grew up watching. This isn’t a sure thing just yet, but it’s going to be difficult for anyone to beat out LSU at this juncture.

Hardly. They had one player that was injured for that game, and it was the RB. the other players got hurt during the game. And it's not like they are the only team that had hurt players. Everybody is beat up at that time of year. Auburn just did not have any depth. they had all year to get another RB ready, but instead decided to run Johnson into the ground.

I will be surprised if Cain goes anywhere but LSU. If he does keep an eye on Auburn fans. RB's are beginning to get scarce, and they really need one or two this year.

He pulled away from our MLB Darry Beckwith who ran 4.7 tops. It wasn’t like he was running away from Pat Pete. That was also the worst defense we’ve had since 1999. Like I said earlier, I’ll be very surprised if y’all score 30+.

Auburn scored 23 on LSU last year - oh yeah, we are going 30+ at Death Valley. Dawgs will score about 17 in 1st half and then our offensive line will take over with our 5 stud RBs and just start pounding on LSU defense - will break some long runs and finish w/ about 35+ points.
