What if Coach Zer0 is gone before signing day?

That's probably why he committed.

Going play RB at miss state over LSU would be a dumb decision. Looks like he is making the right one.

I follow Paul Jones’ CB because he has the second highest ONE TEAM insider predict rate and is very realistic about MSU football and their chances on guys. If he flips it, I’ll get worried but until then I ride with him. He is very rarely wrong.
This hasn't aged well

If this dude ends up where he commits, ill be stunned. Hes gonna flip 3 times and then end up in Juco.

He will most definitely not end up in Juco. I also predict South Carolina to go 6-6 this season so enjoy.

Kids like this are so predictable. They cant make up their mind and either change their commitment 3-4 times or transfer after one season.
Should I tell him?

He gets to play for Lane Kiffin.

First of all, how is this somehow a surprise? Probably 60% or more of recruit related discussion doesn't age well...
Even if he's wrong in July... it still doesn't mean he will be wrong in December or February.
Secondly, what about that statement specifically hasn't aged well? I don't follow MSU recruiting or insiders, so if Paul Jones has somehow gone on a shitty streak, that's one thing, but otherwise, mentioning that one insider (at that time) added a CB or that they follow a particular insider due to a solid track record with a team hardly seems like a "hot take" that need stand up to aging.
Just looked him up.. 85% correct overall in 19... average of 82+ days correct. Seems like he doesn't just fling shite on a wall and hope.

Lighten up Nancy. I looked him up last night and agreed with the Rayburn about Jones. He appears to be a legit guy with a good track record.
What hasn't aged well is Rayburn's hope. I'd say it's hanging by a Paul Jones nose hair right about now. Emery wen't from 89% MSU to 53% in the blink of an eye.
Obviously I know this is recruiting and it ultimately doesn't mean shite until the guys sign. I mean, I went to bed on NSD eve this past year, with LSU leading in CB picks for Surtain 93/7 over Alabama. We all know how that turned out.
BUT...I don't see an in-state guy committing to LSU and then flipping to State. I think if he flips anywhere, it will be Georgia.

Wow. This thread has gone to crap. I remember when the recruiting board was a troll free zone. now we have people telling other fan bases they are going 7-5 or 6-6.

Wiltfong just said that Emery will be in Athens this weekend.

Fact is when he delayed his commitment in July it was downhill from there for State, should have seen writing on the wall then. As soon as that happened he was trending in another direction.
Where he ends up in the end who knows, but we certainly feel a lot better on the LSU side now than we did just over a month ago at this point. Part 1 was getting him to delay the commitment in July, Part 2 has been getting dad on our side and supposedly that's what has happened. Mom has been in our corner since Day 1 and doesn't want him going far, which is really what hurts UGA badly. They want to see him play in every game.
I expect UGA to pick up some energy if he makes it there this weekend, but not sure it'll be enough to win his signature in the end. It's all about convincing not jst Emery but both parents too.

One thing is for sure...
In the pursuit of elite running backs, when the contenders are LSU, UGA, and Mississippi State...
One is not like the others. As soon as UGA and LSU turned up the heat, the chances of him landing in Starkville made like Lane Kiffin on a tinder date and went down hard.

It's always hard to get a kid out of Louisiana if LSU wants him. There is no arguing that point.

That hope is gone at this point. I think I was fine to have it last night.
Now on to Eric Gray (4-star APB out of Memphis), who we could have had committed months ago but did not want a second RB in this class thinking we could get Emery.
I just hope the staff doesn't waste time on Jerrion Ealy since he is staring a 7 figure baseball signing bonus in the face.

My question more came from, "Does LSU want three RB's?"
I would not think so. I think we're good with 2 this year and then trying to get 2 again next year. Zachary Evans and Ashaad Clayton likely being our top targets. Even if the staff did decide that they liked Cain better than Clayton or Evans, I really can't see all three 2019 guys going to the same school.
