Let's be 100% honest. If the tables were turned and MSU won 3 titles in the 50/60's, while Ole Miss had never won a NC, you would harp on it as well. You only say modern ball because it eliminates our titles, giving us an even playing field.

The difference is simple:
MSU looks at "their lifetime" because there is no past.
Ole Miss looks at "their lifetime" and the past because we have a past.
If you honestly think you wouldn't brag about national titles regardless of how long ago they occurred, you're crazy.
I know you think you wouldn't, but I'm sure that's just because you haven't experienced the situation. Take the word of a national championship winning program's fan, you would.
