Didn't know if y'all still had a DB spot after Dax flipped.

He supposedly has a ton of off the field issues.

TIFWIW.

I know UGA has kicked the tires on him a few times but never seemed to be heavily involved. For a 5 star going to FSU it’s weird that theirs been very little interest from the top teams.

It might be an unpopular opinion, but after watching his film I don't think he's really a 5-star. I actually think he'd be a better Safety/Nickel than a true Corner.

I've heard Clemson is maybe an option. I know Miami is interested.

I don't know about off field issues, but I know he's been playing hardball about maybe getting his brother a scholarship. Of course, there's also rumor$ going around as well - dunno how much truth.

I think Williams is it for Bama at DB provides he sticks. Banks looks like the only other guy in play. There was a little talk last week about DJ James. Don’t know if he signed with MSU or not. I think we have taken enough DBs even if Williams goes elsewhere.

Pola-Gates no longer on the wish list? I figure as much as he loved Bama, a hard Saban push might be able to swing him back.

I think geography and Bama getting Battle knocked Pola-Gates out of contention for Bama. Also, Herm Edwards has been recruiting him hard. Herm is doing his thing. I see he got Ryan Clark's son.

I could be wrong, but I think Bama's top targets are the 3 unsigned commits (Robinson, Young, Williams*) plus Sopsher, To'oto'o and Bogle; but Pola-Gates* and Marcus Banks* might still be in play for Williams' commitment spot. And among those priorities, signing another DB might be the lowest. Of course priorities could shift depending on who departs for the NFL draft, transfers, etc.

Yea dont know what film youve watched. I really think he is elite. The thing is i believe we want a kid that actually plays CB in high school just in case Williams goes to LSU.
