There are not a lot of top recruits left. A&M is going to have to start flipping.
24/7 has them ranked 55th with only 7 commits. Most of the top schools have at least 16.

It's not necessary to do flips... but they gotta make up lot of grounds between now and October to recuit Plan B and Plan C. The opportunity to grab top prospects are getting smaller each weeks.. They have 7 commits right now... need to get to 16 commits before season begins... otherwise, they may have to go JUCO/Transfer route.

oh frick, no one has even talked about the fact that we might lose the 7 that we have. we might seriously be going into ESD with zero commits

Really good point. Not sure honestly how we'll field a team in the coming years. I haven't worried about this til now.

People just don’t understand. We move when we want to and we will get elite recruits. We only have 19 spots so we are going to be very selective.

Not sure how that works but I assume this weekend was set up to produce a lot of momentum and I assume some were silents but Jimbo wanted them to wait for this weekend. Which is good to have everyone together.

While I do agree with this for the most part, I do think there is something to be said for Jimbo's historical recruiting at A&M.
Brought in the #4 class with the initial hype of his hiring. Then the #6, then the #8. Regardless of individual scores, consistent regression compared to his peers.
Then the #1 class last year, and a bit of sputtering out of the gate with this current class. If the embers were lit in regards to what occurred with last years class the smoke is definitely going now.
