its not the fact that he ended up at 24. i only used owens earlier because he made the single biggest jump out of anyone in their top 32. he had a great week and he deserved the bump. i just find it legit bizarre that 247 literally singled kenyon out for how well he played all week in orlando at the UA game.....and they may bump him one or two spots. it just legitimately doesnt make sense and its only further proof that 247 ranks AA players higher than UA players for the obvious reason, just like ESPN does the other way around

A&m dominated the state this year due the first year Jimbo bump. But yet Texas is still just two spots behind them overall at 5 with a higher star average. A&m has better o line & tight end class. Texas has a better skill class on both sides of the ball especially on defense at linebacker. Honestly other than Leal I would not trade classes as a Texas fan with a&m.

If they’re great at finding talent then why aren’t they in the playoff yearly? Unless you mean good a finding underrated types who may actually be fairly good.

Did you watch his senior tape and his all star game film? His all star game performance gave him the 5 star.

That's just like asking why hasn't a&m won a Natty since before fighter jets were invented.

Not saying you but a bunch of Aggies hate Owens got his fifth star. They say it's the "Texas bump". Jordan just got his fifth star too on 247 but 247 hasn't put it in yet.

Why would that make Aggies mad? He’s good. Had offers from everyone. Maybe he doesn’t have a true position (played a bunch of RB in HS right?), but I see no great issue with it even if I don’t 1000% agree with it.

quote:because, say it with me now, we took a kicker. and once again, say it with me now, our top 23 commits have a higher average than yalls
with a higher star average.
quote:well thats not true. yall have a better WR class, even though A&M has the best WR in the state in dylan wright. A&M has the better running back and the better DB class
Texas has a better skill class on both sides of the ball
quote:and i wouldnt come close to trading ours for yalls in any way. i would love to have floyd and jake smith. after that? meh
I would not trade classes as a Texas fan with a&m.

That makes zero sense. Don’t try harder just be better at this.

Nathan Pickering dropping 37 spots is a damn joke.

We shall see. I'm interested in how y'all secondary and o line look next season. Y'all fix that and y'all should be dangerous. It's about time teams from Texas start showing up. We have been mocked and labeled as soft as a whole.

I imagine the LSURb is on fire right now.

I think by now they are keen on the yearly final Bama bumps and LSU dumps in rankings. It's nothing new, happens every year.

I don't personally care and I do not evaluate these players for a living obviously. This particular one just seems like an outlier and the skepticism is understandable based on his ranking history and knowing he committed on 9/24/18. Just a crazy rise. Maybe there are others that are comparable to him, but I don't remember one in recent history.

It's like clockwork.
"There's no way X dropped! Bama Bias!"
Never mind that they haven't seen a single kid play that jumped their guy and they keep losing to the same team over and over again...

And they're using words like "biased" and phrases like "bama bump and lsu dump".
Is there anything or anyone who isn't against these people? Is everyone, including the recruiting services victimizing this fanbase?
Everyone is out to get them.

So right now Diwun Black, who DID NOT play this year and played in no All-Star games is rated than Pickering.
What is worse is that by all reports Pickering had great All-star weeks. There is no reason to drop him other than he is an MSU.
