Wasn't Teddy Bridgewater in the Elite 11?

Probably so.

I'm still waiting on the list of players that sucked before The Opening, did great at The Opening, and then sucked after The Opening. I'm sure crimsonion will have a list soon with evidence to back it up.

Already posted if you looked. Yes Bridgewater lost to Driskel. Case in point.

That's just a list of the quarterbacks that competed. I can find those on Google, man.

The last impressive Elite 11 class was 2008 with Aaron Murray, Tajh Boyd, AJ Mccarron, Mettenberger and Geno Smith. Since then, Teddy Bridgewater is really the only success story.

If Bama was talking to this kid, they'd be calling for him to be a 5 star. The point is even in his highlights, which get this, are actual game situations, he still shows deadly accuracy, moxy in the pocket, and a knack for making the right throws. He's underrated, DWI.

And *gasp* they were all shitty AFTER the Elite 11 which is what you asked for. You aren't too smart are ya?

Poor fellow decided to play at Kansas over schools like Washington, California, Tennessee, and Notre Dame (not sure how many were committable). He got what he deserved. Fact remains, he was a really good quarterback coming out of high school and was heavily recruited. I don't know why anyone would want to play at Kansas.

We also need to take into account that some of these kids are still sophomores and freshmen in college. Some reached their ceiling out of high school, while some had/will have terrible coaching, and some will be late bloomers.

ETA: Meant BYU.

GASP, I asked for a list of players that were all shitty before and after the Elite 11.

The fact is a lot of the QB's picked at the top of the Elite 11 do not pan out. Same thing with some top rated QB's like Cornwell. Just because you do well at the opening doesn't mean you should be bumped over the others. Film and game situations are more important to coaches.

So was Phillip Ely. He made the Elite Eleven.

Bammers are so predictable. Cornwell crapped the bed and they are embarrassed.

I have no idea how good Cornwell will be. The position is the most difficult to predict. We've had guys that had few offers go on to be great for us, Elite Eleven guys completely fail, and guys that did well in the competition be amazing too. It just seems like a crapshoot a lot of times with it. Hence, I'm not going to be up in arms over how he did. I'm guessing the shite he's getting has more to do with who he committed to. Keller Chryst sure as hell isn't getting heat over it.

OL is harder to project without a doubt but on a side note we should all agree that Cornwell is nowhere near a 5* prospect at this point and he is getting preferential treatment because of who he is committed to .
