Nobody loses their mind when Alabama gets the top LBer. They always have fantastic LBers.

We signed our best defensive line class in a decade last year and they're all in redshirt. We have another stout Dline haul coming in this year with elite DBs. The defense will be fine now that the incompetent three are gone. Quick fix if I ever saw one.

It's been that way every year the incompetent three have been here, because the incompetent three were here for 7 years. One of them was fired mid-season, and one of them just announced his (forced) retirement minutes ago.

The same story every year for the past 15 years has been how terrible the defense has been with Stoops’ family and drinking buddies all on staff.
Three consecutive top-10 classes, current third ranked class, and a DC with a pulse. This is an entirely new story.
