Looks like Saban should get better results.

Kirby has had better results. Richt had UGA relevant once every 5 years. 2002, 2007, 2012 were the years Richt had UGA in the hunt. Smart has had UGA in the hunt 3/4 years.

Ironically, the East has been as good as the west the past 3 seasons.
2017: west had a better h2h record, but UGA won the conference anyway
2018: the east had the better h2h record, but the west won the conference ccg.
2019: the h2h was exactly the same until the west won the seccg.
Over the past 3 seasons, the east is no more a dumpster fire than the west. So what kind of a dumpster fire are we talking about?

people keep claiming "the east is down!" while ignoring that we also play AU every year, AU was a top 10 team in both 17 and 19 and we beat them both years (both away from home). That MSU team in 17 was also ranked int he top 20 and coming off a 30 point beatdown of LSU (and took bama to the brink in teh final minutes) that we beat by 3 touchdowns.
Basically people's arguments boil down to: florida adn tennessee aren't as elite as we think they shoudl be. Nothing more. I mean that UK team last year taht finished 2nd in the east was a damn good team, the logo on their helmet is irrlevant to how good or bad of a team they are. People just see bama/lsu/auburn as the clear cut top 3 in the west year after year, so the fact that it's not uga/uf/ut in the east just automatically means the east is down. Apparently.

Who does UF play? LSU and AU every year? If so, that is very impressive.

those games are:
-a meh win over a 5 loss MSU
-a good win over AU this year
-a good win over LSU last year
-a loss to LSU this year
Let's also keep in mind we've had to play the SECW champ the last 3 seasons, I think it's a fairly safe bet UF would have lost to bama last yera, and they obviously did lose to LSU this year.

And ya got beat down a couple of weeks ago! What does that have to do with today?
You act like LSU has been winning SEC Championships and competing the last 11 years or so.

I suspect nobody really knows and UGA fans should not be crowing about getting recruits who haven’t even announced yet, or you wind up with egg on your face.

Why is it LSU fans say we (Georgia) haven't won any championships in 40 years, then claim they have two in the last 10 years? Pretty sure that isn't correct.

I just asked how long will UGA fans allow him to stay around especially with the way he is tearing up the recruiting trail
You’re not trying to ruffle our feathers by comparing him to Richt and asking how long we’ll let him stay around? In his 4th year ever as a head coach, he’s gone 11-1 3 of those years. He lost the playoff play in game to two teams that were top to bottom better than us. I think we’re going to let him stick around for a while and see if he can figure it out. Jesus Christ.

Wonder how long Kirby is going to be able to sell it to the boosters, we just need a little more cash and we can get over that hump. Pretty funny their big recruiting push came after getting pounded by LSU and losing their best assistant coach.
But $ is king and if the NCAA is gonna keep turning blind eyes I guess props to UGA for making the commitment to bring in the best talent they can.
