Saw that. He's all Gamecock, tho. Good to see him getting the attention he deserves, tho. He's definitely a baller and he's one helluva recruiter to boot.

Hilinski's family is house shopping in the Greater Columbia area this weekend.

He noted his mother, Kym, will be traveling with him. She’ll likely be looking at real estate, as the family will move to Columbia when he enrolls at USC.

They gave South Carolina and Hilinski both a lot of love on that broadcast tonight. Saw several fans up in the stands, including his parents, wearing Gamecock stuff.

That WR for O-Lu though, Ford, he is damn good. Wish we could have gotten him too as part of the deal.

Everytime I see this thread bumped, I get a little nervous.

South Carolina football commitment Ryan Hilinski was selected to receive the Sam B. Nicola Award from the Touchdown Club of Columbus.

The award, named for the club's founder, is presented to the National High School Football Player of the Year. Past winners include Emmitt Smith, Chris Spielman, Joe Mauer and current Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen. Hilinski, a 4-star recruit, will enroll at South Carolina in January.

The Orange Lutheran (Calif.) High School quarterback passed for nearly 8,000 and 85 total touchdowns during his career. As a senior, he led the Lancers into the postseason playoffs passing with 2,771 yards and 29 touchdowns. I think it's possible that Werner isn't at SC next year. Do not know how or if that would affect Hilinski at this juncture.

His family already bought a house on Lake Murray and he's signed financial aid, he's rock solid here.

Just curious, what makes you think Werner is going somewhere? I highly doubt it.
