Losing TJ Yeldon was a big blow if Dyer doesn't get his head on straight. I don't care what anyone says

Man this is Auburn. We are RunningBack U. One recruit will never make or brake us. Robinson is just as good as Yeldon. If Yeldon is an A+, then Robinson is an A-.

What we really need is a fullback. Stop wasting Lutz as a lead blocker.

Call me crazy, but when we had Yeldon committed and Dyer with the trouble, I was all for putting him at FB... He's a big kid already and very athletic. Granted, I haven't seen his blocking ability.

I always thought Robinson would end up at FB. Guess he is going to be a RB now.

Jovon Robinson is a beast and losing Yeldon is not that bad of a loss. He would have a lot of competition on the Plains ahead of him at RB.

BMatt said that he wouldn't be surprised if Deon Bush picked Miami, due to his mother wanting him to stay near home. He's been at 75% on Jeff Lee's hotboard, so I guess he's headed to Da U now.

I wouldn't be shocked either. Hopefully we can get a surprise there, but it wouldn't shock me at all. Just the nature of the beast with mothers

And our luck lately...

Which has been very shitty

BTW, I still haven't heard shite on the OC and DC. Weren't we supposed to hire one after the bowl game? Before we know it, 2 weeks will have passed before someone is hired.

I know, hopefully we hire somebody soon. I keep hearing the talk for Baylor's OC and I am not sold. having a QB like RGIII is going to make a lot of guys looks real good.

No one other than message board fans said that. While I'd love to have both spots filled now now, it would do more harm than good for Chizik to rush it and make shitty hires.

Yeah I saw an article from PM saying it was highly unlikely we would start hearing much about the coordinators till next week maybe.

We haven't exactly rushed anything...

We can't even get a good read on candidates

How do you know how hard they have or haven't been looking for these coaches? Just because we can or can't get leaked info/rumors doesn't mean a thing. For all we know we're bringing in an OC from the NFL who's team is still playing and they don't want that info leaked out.

You need to stop being the most over reactive Auburn fan on the internet. It's a much less stressful way to live.

I've already stated that I base pretty much everything off of what I read. Kind of funny that we haven't heard much of anything, anyways.

I think Cpt. Bran has me beat, brah.

I'm not the type to lay around and get passed over, though, either. When I know what I want, I jump on it. It's just the type of person I am.

Per PM...

quote:

I am told by a source very close to the search that it appears now it will probably be during or after the American Football Coaches Association convention before new coordinators are hired. The convention is set for Sunday-Wednesday in San Antonio. A recruiting dead period starts Monday and goes though Thursday of next week. "He is being very, very thorough," the source said. "He wants to make certain he has the right guys."

Have you not paid attention to Chizik the past 3 years? It's not like he kicks back with the beat reporters to gossip about what's going on at Auburn...
