Maybe Germans,,,, But I did not realize that Yeldon did not even have the class to call the Auburn coaches himself... Instead he had his BAMMER coach make the call...

Vickery said he found out about Yeldon's change of heart Sunday and called Auburn coach Gene Chizik and recruiting coordinator Curtis Luper before notifying the media.
meh...him calling, his coach calling...makes no difference.

Well it looks like Hosley is going to sign with AU.

I really don't know where the worry came from. I'm about 99% sure his mom wouldn't let him go anywhere.

(Really just trying to find a reason to bump the thread off the second page)

think we're in pretty good shape with all three... Boehman's recommit might explain Leff's Tuesday offer.
we'll see.... OL should be solid... maybe not the upper level talent of last year's group, but the two classes should complement each other well.

Building solid depth is what's important right now....

Haven't we had back to back great OL classes? I know we lost Coleman and Gayden, but everyone else is still there right?

Lost Coleman, Gayden and Ed Christian from the 2010 class. Plus Moseley will be graduation. Leaves us with Chade Slade and Tunde.

And Eric Mack
Oh yeah, I forgot about the fatboy.
But I would not call a class of Slade, Tunde, and Mack "great" on any level. Its not even average.

When your top 2 prospects at a position don't pan out, "great" turns into average

It's sad that I'm beginning to get a strong hate for this kid and I don't even know him.

I really can't stand him.

He's not as bad as Zeke was, but he's getting close. For sure. He needs to shut the hell up, IMO.

Just saw this article linked at CBSSports: OANOW.com
Chizik's confident the plan that was put in place three years ago is the right one and Auburn is still on track with it. Here are the important quotes from the article.

quote:
NOTES: Chizik says Tigers in a 'great place' recruiting-wise
"We are in a great place,” Chizik said of recruiting for the future of the Tigers program. “And we have no reason to believe that the plan that we laid down three years ago, which is us going on a really, really direct path, we have no reason to believe that anything has changed.”
"We’ve had changes in personnel and staff here. That’s only simply because of the circumstances they had in taking those jobs and they had to do what was best for their families,” Chizik said. “That happens all the time in college football. People will try to portray it however they want to, but the reality of it is that nothing’s change and we’re on the exact same path that we were a month ago, two months ago.
“So people are going to spin it how they’re going to spin it, but I can assure everybody out there that there is absolutely 100 percent one direction that we’re going, and that’s the same direction we’ve been going since we got here three years ago. Nothing’s changed and the future is very bright.”
Tuesday night, the Tigers picked up the commitment of three-star Fairhope offensive lineman Robert Leff. Auburn now has 16th verbal commitment for the class of 2012.

Yeah I just skimmed over his Twitter and I'm not really seeing anything inflammatory. He isn't starting shite with anyone. He just seems to be really enthusiastic about going to Bama and wants other kids to go there with him.
