This not having any coordinators is killing us. I guess Saban doesn't mind recruiting our commitments though, we just aren't allowed to recruit his because that would be immoral

If we get a good DC that excites some of the recruits, he'll stick. I can understand him not being sure since he doesn't even know who his DC will be

I dont think Bama is really after him. If we miss on Dixon & Bush then I wld expect it to pick up.

Good news for AU is that USM hired Ellis, which means Anderson is looking for a job if you want him. He'll cost a helluva lot less than $1.3m, too.

He would be a great hire. I hope we go after him pretty hard.

I have no idea how good of a coach or recruiter Anderson is. I don't really know anything about him except for skimming over his bio on the southern miss website.

I'd assume we go after him really hard this week. Reports are that he was likely who we would have hired if Malzahn left last year, and after USM's season this year I'd imagine Chizik is going to try his best to get him

Yea, how dare us continue to recruit Dee Hart last season after he committed to Bama

It really was pretty tacky of us to tell the truth.

Probably because the only other time it was used was before you were a member(by me of course)

I pretty much gave up following it this year. Although I check in over here every now and then and catch up a bit. It is actually nice because I wasn't invested in Yeldon (or any of the other guys), so his flip didn't really bother me.
^^^This. I am sure we will continue to bring in top talent and compete. I was very invested last year and it was fun, turrible, exciting, disappointing, and I just don't have the time and energy to do that again. So I check this board and others every so often.
I must admit it is really nice not to hang on every new piece of info about a recruit. Tweets, what he wore to school or an all star game, what a so called insider knows or doesn't, etc. Ya just waiting for signing day anymore. It has been rather nice doing it that way for me.

fwiw, Auburn may be the team to beat for Alex Kozan, OG from Colorado.
I know the momentum has slowed in AU recruiting, but this OL class has potential to be good(Latu and Calahoun committed, leading for watson)... combine that with 2011's OL class, and AU could be setting itself up for a solid offensive front for the next several years.
