Auburn Undercover. Apparently BMatt said on a radio show Louis decomitted from FSU.

At this point, I'd be kinda surprised if we didn't get Louis back

That's pretty damn good.
Too bad Stallworth disappeared for the rest of the season...

Seriously, he showed up for the first two or three games and then was AWOL.

K Frazier's dad was pretty supportive of new OC on AE last night as well (as I am sure some here noticed).
Hey, may turn out pretty well. I am cautiously optomistic.

Among football coaches, he seems to be very highly thought of. Among TD coaches, he is crap.

Yeah I know. I think it is a good sign. TD posters are pretty dumb in general. Cept for us Aubbies.

Gocrazy -
I think he's a good hire, just not the homerun hire BVG was. Also, he's a guy that was clearly plan C bc you could have had him 4 weeks ago at most or 2 weeks ago at worst. Dorsnt mean he wont kill it at AU. Just means he wasnt first choice. AU has shown willingness to pay $1.3m for OC. Just makes you wonder why not throw that at whoever turned you down, you know?

I have a feeling we threw a pretty sizeable offer at whoever our first choice was. I think Chizik just decided, once #1 was turned down, he opted for the younger, initially cheaper option who could be at AU a good bit longer.

After reading up on him, he sounds better than some of the NFL names being thrown around (except that guy at SF).
While the wait on the announcement sucked, it wasn't out of the ordinary for other hires that took place (I believe both bama and florida hires took 30+ days).

That would be my guess as well. And I am thinking it was Cameron considering it was about an hour after the end of the Ravens game when the boards starting lighting up about an announcement being emminent.

I know he can be prone to hyperbole, but the word is Trooper is pretty confident we will bring Louis back into the fold.

I dont know about the Florida hire, but Bama hired an OC within a few days of the BCSNCG. I think they waited until that was over to interview (officially).

I think the biggest reason for the delay was that we were gunning for some NFL guys, and with Cameron, he probably wanted to wait until the playoffs were done before giving us an answer.
