He played for either Monroe High School or Dougherty High. I think his uncle told me Monroe. I would ask for his name, but I terminated his employment recently. On signing day, if he signs we shall know. I can only shake my head at Chiz if he wasted his time and jetfuel for a preferred walk-on.

They could be wrong, but the SEC does not like players coming in and playing in one year AT ALL.

bullshite. If Russell Wilson had decided for Auburn last year, the SEC office would have had no problem.

The only reason older brother won't be approved by the Birmingham offices of the SEC is because he comes along with little brother.

To be fair, the rule hadn't been instituted yet when we were going after Russell Wilson.

I hope they are wrong believe me, we could still maybe get him anyway but I don't see Armond in orange and blue next year.

Im beginning to think that Armond is not worth using one of the 25 LOIs in this class. I would like to have him before I found out he counts towards the LOI cap and not just the 85 limit.

He is just one player and one piece of the puzzle. One teenager does not deserve the time and posts following such a wacky recruitment. Time to move on imo

From what I've gathered: Arik and Armond would have to wait on a waiver from the SEC that might not happen so he could play right away, and Notre Dame won't clear Armond to play... So, that leaves Oregon. I still don't understand why them, though. Armond can't transfer to another PAC10 team from what I've read.

If they can play together then it is Auburn, if they can not the family prefers he stay closer to home.

Yeah, this really isn't anything earth shaking. Waiver granted: Auburn. Waiver denied/not processed in time: Anyone's guess.

I don't see the shock and horror

Have you heard anything about Cam Cameron being Auburn's new OC?

Negative. I usually don't like to ask about coaching searches/JUCO recruiting.

Cam Cameron would appear to be a best case scenario type situation. He's one of the best when it comes to offense. Interestingly enough, I think Cam Cameron has turned down interview offers from other college football programs. He seems pretty content on staying there.

That would not be totally surprising. He did not have an offer from FSU earlier.....

The only reason is IF his choice is involved in the NFL playoffs... Chiz seems set on getting an NFL coach...
