All I’m reading from Aggie and UT fairies is that they both backed off him for off of the field issues. Zero details or proof of this is provided with these claims so def could just be the two dead programs seething and coping.

Satterfield is putting together something special with this recruiting class. We already have a 4-star QB commitment in Pierce Clarkson. We are also in on some big-time lineman. Never seen recruiting like this before at Louisville

I saw Wiltfong has some OL CB’d too. He put one in for Owens like an hour ago lol.

There have been rumors Louisville was going to try and be a big time NIL player. It’s not out of the realm of possibility they opened a big bag to make a program splash and to get people talking about them.
NIL was my first thought as well, but we’ve seen top programs shun ‘off of the field issues’ regardless of talent, so I’m hesitant to commit to either for the reason.

Five-star RB Rueben Owens said he's going to Louisville. The No. 16 overall recruit in the 2023 class is a huge get for Scott Satterfield. U of L now has four commits ranked among the 247's top 200. That's as many top 200 recruits as they had in previous 13 YRs combined.

Seen it with Jacksonville State last year. Some of these teams can pool it up and focus on few guys and might get lucky and land them a star. Would be nice if there ends up being parity but we know the rich teams will still get the bulk.
