Agreed. Clemson fan trying to say the woman’s basketball player is better than Fields based on Lawrence getting to play and Fields not is ridiculous. Wherever Fields goes next, he will start. Let’s see after 1-2 yrs of Fields as starter whose better.

Clemson fan is lucky uga didn’t need a starting QB. Lawrence was originally committed to Uga.

Clemson has won two national titles since Georgia won one, who is clinging to relevance again?

We don’t care about the past in the recruiting forum. All about building to the ultimate goal

Who is in the playoffs this year and who isn’t?

You really in here after a 5-7 season, no offensive coordinator, and a ugly arse recruiting class talking shite?
Tf is wrong with this place lol

He was responding to a dumb comment IMO. Didn’t have anything to do with Tennessee.
Clemson is in the playoffs. We aren’t.

It's funny because Lawrence was supposed to be UT's savior and he never even really considered you guys
Butch told him that he wouldn't fit in his offensive scheme and that he might fit in somewhere else.

There are plenty of threads that would probably be bump worthy, especially lately. This is not one of them.

I don't think so. in fact, the story I heard was that he came to a camp while Schottenheimer was at UGA, and Schott made him stand in some long line to get inside without going out and bringing him on in or talking to him.
I believe that was Lawrence it happened to. His recruitment to Georgia was one screw up after another. Pretty sure we were not in it after some of those things.

Fwiw i post this here since apparently the uga board is locked to new members lol and the rant is like a digital lobotomy. But mansell said on the radio this morning that this has been brewing all year between kirby and the Fields family. Like since second game. they clearly feel completely slighted and felt he shouldve been getting 50% of the snaps
That being said, there has to be a degree of relief for the staff to get this shite behind them. If the parents are going to act little league about it then adios. The timing is atrocious but alas, cooler heads prevail

Yea and the problem with splitting the reps 50/50 is that no one QB would ever get in a rhythm like that. I will say that Kirby obviously misused him and cost him a year of eligibility. I don’t blame him for wanting to transfer. At the end of the day, you got to do what’s best for you. Fans who cry out “team first” don’t realize that kids with talent are probably most interesting in preparing for their professional careers. You can’t do that if you don’t play.

I'd like to see anything that backs this up.
Lawrence was committed to Clemson for a year before signing.

I dont think this at all. It was an untenable position kirby was in. the fields family felt he was the future of the team and merited meaningful snaps day 1. I dont believe the "ok with redshirting" line for a minute. All the evidence is to the contrary at this point
It all boils down to what the staff saw in practices and scrimmages. and thats what you have to support. Alot of salty phone calls and conversations over the season lead to something like this happening. Kirby still chose to play Fromm
All that aside, the situation creates one of the easiest sells in cfb for a stud qb to walk into now. Will be super interesting to see how it goes

Have you asked for access to the Georgia board in the Help thread? I can't imagine it being closed.
Posted on 12/18/18 at 10:49 am to DawgsLife
It’s true. I can’t post there. I’m guessing b/c I’m new

It would be the same outcome. Fromm is doing a tremendous job. Lawrence is too good to sit. He likely would have transferred as well.
