And here comes the LSU fans shocked recruits don't want to reaffirm to LSU after the circus of the last couple weeks..

Said none of us?

Franks left because Miles cant develop a QB and Grier's suspension got upheld. Pretty much it and no way around it. If Grier's suspension got overturned he'd still be committed here more than likely.

I heard some hearsay that UF has a rule for athletics that if you test positive for PEDs youre kicked out of the program. Any truths to that?

A few UF boards have had some talk about that, just rumors at this point, but I don't know what UF's policy is on that.

Also read that somewhere. Not sure if it's true. It's weird that he has not been at any of the team practice.

Mac said he was allowed to be "with" the team, but he hasn't been at any practices.

Clueless what his situation will be like until hes allowed to officially play in 2016.

Franks and Del Rio - that's the QB battle for next season.

No idea what will happen with Grier. Never heard of a UF policy regarding PED's. If UF can have all three, then that would be optimal.

If Del Rio is as good as people in Gainesville says he is, he will start with Treon/Franks battling for the backup spot.

I don't think Treon wears a Gator uniform next year. With Franks, Del Rio, Grier - coaches will tell him to transfer.

Good luck to him. He wouldn't fit here under the new OC and system, anyway. Lol

He really could kill miles' career. No QB recruit now for us and he may beat miles next year.

The Grier is gone stuff is just plain wrong. The UAA fought tooth and nail for him so there is no way they will just kick him out now. Would have already happened. Let's not just talk out of our arse please the UAA isn't going to waste time defending a kid they will now kick out.

Not worried about this Felipe dude. I mean he was committed to LSU to play QB so that tells me he can't play QB.

None that I know of. There are rumors left and right about Grier though so I'd be leery of anything close to hearsay.

So, is this a situation that he was committed to his recruiters rather than the school or is it because of the possibility of early PT at Florida that got his interest?

It's likely that both of his recruiters are going to be let go at LSU and UF's QB situation seems wide open.

I think it's more of an issue with their being a log jam at QB. If one of the freshman starts and is doing well, you can't just give the job back to Grier. Grier will be all but gone at that point. Now if Del Rio wins the job for next year, then the likelihood of Grier being our starter for 2nd half of 2016 (assuming he outplays Del Rio) and 2017 is more likely. Under that scenario, the freshman sit on the bench two years which is acceptable. Riding the pine behind Grier after opening 2016 as the starter would probably cause us to lose a freshman recruit.

Les and Cam are in Franks's house as we speak. I guess their is a good chance that Cam is staying.
