If it means losing out on Pop Houston, then he can walk.

It is odd that neither staff showed a ton of interest in him.

Haven will go onto Bama and he’ll lead them to a couple of titles and maybe a heisman but Pop will have the better overall career.

I think he’ll go to Bama, not win starting job, transfer somewhere out of conference and we never really talk about him again.

Did they not, or did both staffs just want Houston more?

i predict the upcoming haven threads will be filled with rational comments from all sides.

the kelly staff seemed to like haven, but they went with the first commitment that came between houston and haven. the kiffin staff seemed more than happy to have houston. whoever gets haven is getting a very talented and by all accounts very good and mature kid.

Bama will continue to decline for at least 3 more years.

He's ready for college ball and plays much tougher competition.

Haven might end up being the better QB in a few years, but right now Pop is the better bet.

LSU just fired a coach and Bama extended one, but Bama is in decline.

only reason he’s not higher is his height. That’s it
