LSU just fired a coach and Bama extended one, but Bama is in decline.

Alabama extended their coach after two years finishing the season ranked no. 11 and no. 9.

Yes. I would say that is a decline.

Only at Bama would finishing the season ranked in the top 15 be classified as a decline

You like 15? You realize that decline means lower than that next year, right? No, you don’t. You will.

Best of luck to him outside of LSU games. Everything I've read said he's a really good kid & student, and he has a very high athletic ceiling. LA doesn't like to space out its elite QB talent unfortunately.

11th and 9th after losing most of their team after Saban retired:

Almost a third of their players left in the portal and more left for the draft.

Julian Sayin (QB, Ohio State) - Starter. 77.0% completion rate, third-best all-time in FBS

Seth McLaughlin (C, Ohio State) – Rimington Award winner; tore his Achilles late in the season.

Ja’Corey Brooks (WR, Louisville) – 61 catches, 1,013 yards, 9 TDs.

Trey Amos (CB, Ole Miss) – 47 tackles, 3 INTs; All-SEC 1st Team.

Eli Holstein (QB, Pittsburgh) – 62% comp., 2,225 yards, 17 TDs, 7 INTs.

James Brockermeyer (C, TCU) – Starting center.

Dezz Ricks (CB, Texas A&M) – 18 tackles, 1 INT; earned a starting role late in the season.

Isaiah Bond (WR, Texas) – Led Alabama in receptions (48) and TDs (4) in 2023; now a key playmaker for Texas.

Desmond Ricks (CB, Texas A&M) – 19th in 2023 ESPN 300; now a starter at A&M.

Nope. I was just talking about Alabama, since LSU fired its coach and hired the best available.

What’s his record vs LSU? I’m guessing pretty bad the way LSU fans talk about him
