Oh well, long time before signing day

So is he still garabage and not a take for Bama? This one was over for us when we fired Les. I'm sure he's pissed about Les getting canned. I don't care how many recruits we lose. Les is gone and that's all that matters.

Not surprised. He loves Les and Les is no longer at LSU. No reason for him to come now

While I like the commit, it's still a loooooong way to signing day. These days, you never know.
He's an EE.
He said he's not visiting anywhere else but Corey Raymond (LSU's DB coach) is his cousin so I don't believe him when he said he's not taking any more visits. The staff will get him in town atleast once.

Oh well. Great pickup. Don't blame him with us being in flux. He made a good business decision. Best of luck to him! LSU shouldn't worry too much. Definitely need to go hard on the other linebackers though.

Said he is shutting down recruiting. No more visits

Meh. Hardly news. Kids flip around so much I hardly follow recruiting until a month before signing day

My feelings too.

Figured once Miles was fired, this would happen.
At some point, a head coaching change was needed and when that happens, you lose recruits.
You take the chance with your recruits or continue to be stale with the same head coach.

I know where you're coming from, yet I still find myself getting caught up in the hoopla. I'm old school from the early 70's when recruiting hype started to surge via magazines such as Athlon, Street and Smith, Lindy's. It's definitely become over saturated with the web. But I'd rather read about a commit to my team than another article on Trump or Clinton or any of the other nonstop depressing world news.

Seriously? I thought LSU fans took this news great. With Les gone it was only a matter time before the decommittments and LSU targets going elsewhere.

Prima Donna's may not like Coach O's concept of 1 Heart 1 Team. Most of these kids that go out of state don't live up to the billing and/or have character issues. Recent examples are Cam Robinson and now Tim Williams.

Wish it wasn't so and especially to a yearly divisional opponent, but he did what's best for him. Les' termination obviously weighed heavily on his decision, but I wouldn't change the outcome of that decision because the program needed a change in leadership. Bama got a good one no doubt. He would've started day one here at MLB due to lack of depth, but IDK about at Bama, they typically are stacked t that position. Still a long way to go from now till February, who knows what could happen.

now Tim Williams.
By all accounts, Tim Williams does not have character issues. He legally purchased a firearm and had a permit for the firearm. His irresponsibility in failing to have that permit with him does not mean he has character issues.
