Does anyone really know what's going on with elias ricks?

Is there any objective insight out there?
There's this ongoing rumor/belief ricks and his family have moved from California to baton rouge. No one can confirm this however and the player vehemently denies this. Despite this denial, many on the lsu recruiting board continue to believe ricks' family does indeed live in south Louisiana.
Can anyone attest to any sightings? Does anyone know of any real estate transactions?
A well known and well respected insider, bradleyrice13 politely confronted ricks on this very issue, stirring some strong feelings. LINK
It begs the question. If the ricks family has indeed transplanted to baton rouge, why then has elias not shutdown his recruitment? Move halfway across the country yet still keep your recruitment open?
Not only is he going all the way to Ohio for a visit but he's made it clear he will take not one but TWO visits to Alabama. One official, one unofficial.
It would seem bradleyrice13 and his diligence has caused a great deal of worry and consternation among the lsu fanbase.
Are there any objective observers out there who could possibly shed some light on these issues?
Lsu fans are rightfully concerned. Alabama fans are cautiously optimistic.

Our insider thinks he ends up at USC. His recruitment is odd.

He’s doing what the majority of the top 5* players do, get five free trips to get wined and dined even though he knows where he’s going to play ball next year.

It is peculiar.
He intimates that he's firm with lsu as long as there's no coaching change or some shite like that. It's as though he's taking a "we'll see" approach when it comes to lsu. Coaching stability is clearly a concern for him, as it should be when you consider lsu's headcoach. So why move all the way to baton rouge when you have doubt?
That's a helluva caveat for a family who supposedly moved across country so their son could attend college.
bradleyrice13 is obviously on to something and the lsu fanbase is mighty raw over it.

Well one of those trips isn't free and that's one of his two visits to alabama.
He and his family is serious enough about the crimson tide to fly to Tuscaloosa on their own dime. It's obvious he has serious doubts about where he's playing next year. So serious in fact his family is willing to pay for one of TWO visits to see nick saban, the head football coach for the alabama crimson tide.

Leave it to LSU fans to run off a recruit. Everyone else knows they are crazy as hell.

Answer one question. Why is he still committed to LSU?
And when is the Aggie going to come in here and bitch about the bammer trolling the recruiting board?

Tidesaint,Tidalsurge and the rest of you boys that have access here can play recruiting games at LSUs expense but you mfers sure as hell wouldn’t allow that BS on your sites,

Well these are all legitimate queries. Tell me. When elias ricks says he and his family doesn't live in Louisiana, do you think he's lying? Many lsu fans insist he does indeed live here, despite his insistence otherwise.
I for one will not assume he's a liar. I take him at his word as should the lsu fanbase. Unless we're all going to assume he's a liar (and i'm sure you don't) elias ricks and his family have not relocated to baton rouge.

Well recruiting is a spectacle and fun to observe for sure. The process is quite fascinating.
The ricks recruitment though is starting to smell a little like the surtain recruitment.
Surtain, much like ricks is now was thought to be a mortal lock to lsu. In fact surtain was thought to be a lock since birth. Then of course that wiley and very compelling nick saban made his case and it was all over.
Well it seems nick saban will have two opportunities to convince the ricks family Alabama is in his best interest.
You're right. It will indeed be "cleaned up".

There’s some serious saltiness in this thread.

The BIG difference between surtain and Ricks is that surtain NEVER actually COMMITTED to LSU. No matter how big a lock he was suppose to be surtain NEVER pulled the trigger. Ricks DID.
As for Ricks, you said take him at his word about not living in BR. Well take him at his word about the only way he won't be in BR for the 2020 season is if there's a coaching change.
EdO aint going nowhere and neither is Corey Raymond. End of discussion.

USC fans like their chances right now. Hes the weirdest recruitment of the cycle.

USC is currently ranked #60 with only 9 recruits and only 2 being 4*
