You should probably reprioritize your daily life if you're this upset over college football recruiting.

I don't understand the ugliness. A dedicated lsu fan and well respected insider (bradleyrice13) broached the topic of the ricks' family residence. Somehow the false rumor that they live in baton rouge caught fire and bradleyrice13 very thoughtfully clarified this for the benefit of the entire lsu fanbase. Per elias, the ricks family doesn't live here. Where's the gratitude? I think bradleyrice13 deserves a little.

I know you’re trolling but I’ll bite.

1. Bradleyrice13 is a moron that should be permabanned on the spot. What he did was disrespectful and utterly retarded on several levels.

2. The father of Elias told a LSU insider they had moved to Baton Rouge. My guess is Elias wanted to make a surprise twitter announcement ( or whatever 18 year old do these days about it ) and was denied that by his dad. This is purely conjecture on my part but it makes sense. I seriously doubt the Dad would just make shite up, especially something this big.

3. Ricks has been one of the main recruiters in the current class and him and his father have a very good relationship with Aranda and O. Obviously teenagers can and will change their minds but ultimately I think he ends up at LSU.

From TidalSurge:

quote:

How Bama can sign 27 in the 2020 cycle:

Bama took 27 in the 2019 cycle including Kaho.

However, 2018 late addition QB Layne Hatcher wasn't on a scholarship and 2018 non-qualifier Jordan Davis didn't sign an NLI. So they didn't count toward any signing or counter limits, resulting in two unused 2018-19 signing and initial counter spots that two 2019-class early enrollees could be counted against.

Also, 2019-class early enrollees Paul Tyson and Will Reichard didn't sign NLIs. It appears that was done so they could receive scholarships as replacements (under the voluntary withdrawal exception rule -- NCAA Bylaw 15.5.6.4.1) for Vandarious Cowan and Keith Holcombe, who withdrew from the team before the 2018 fall term. Per that rule, they would count toward the 85 total counters limit, but not the annual 25 signings and 25 initial counters limits.

It also appears that Bama was able to use the voluntary withdrawal exception rule to give someone (e.g., Saivion Smith or Tevita Musika) a replacement scholarship for Mekhi Brown, who withdrew after the 2017 season. If so, it wouldn't have counted toward 2018's annual limits (only the 85 limit) and would've left one more unused 2018 spot that a 2019 early enrollee could count against.

The net result of the 2019-cycle backcounting enabled by the above would result in Bama having 3 unused 2019 signing and initial counter spots available for backcounting 3 2020 early enrollees. But assuming grad-transfer commit Landon Dickerson enrolls, he'd use one of those 3 2019 spots, leaving two.

Bottom line: I think Bama can sign 27 (25 + 2 backcounted early enrollees) without requiring any blue or gray shirting.

Well someone's lying about the Ricks family living here. Dad, elias or the guy who revealed it.

Elias is adamant about his family not living in baton rouge. I'm not going to assume he's lying.

Bradleyrice13 was courageous enough to confront this false rumor. Real LSU fans appreciate him for it. Those that need to believe elias is a liar don't appreciate it at all.

Thanks to bradleyrice13, real LSU fans now know where they stand with the Ricks family. And here's where they stand. A California residence and two flights to Tuscaloosa. One free and the other out of pocket. Interest in nick saban and the Alabama crimson tide is as serious as nut cancer.

You don't do what the Ricks family is doing with Alabama, AFTER you move halfway across the country to attend a rival school. You do that BEFORE you move.

It is indeed weird and weird things like this stir angst and uncertainty.

It's ironic how USC fans like their chances. Alabama fans like their chances and LSU fans, who currently hold the commitment, have started wringing their hands (and rightly so) since elias made it clear he and his family do not live in Louisiana.

It's as though bradleyrice13 yanked lsu's head out of the sand and they can't handle it.

Well the zachary evens riddle is half solved. Alabama has his bestest good friend. If zachary bails then Alabama will have two empty spots.
