Looks like he got booted too. Chicken must have taken on the admin duties.

Possible flip watch guy if Miami has a good year. He told either someone in his circle or a coach at Miami that he was going to choose the Canes, then sometime in the past 24-48 hours he started leaning LSU. He was leaning Florida for a while when Raymond was there, so If I had to put money on it I bet he sticks based on that connection. He really loves Coach Raymond.

Bumping this

Pickett said he "saw what he needed to see" out of Miami against Florida. His cousin is a DL there right now as well.

Yep. He did. Doesn't mean he's flipping at all. Kid has a good family and good head on his shoulders. Just being respectful to the reporter asking questions and Miami. He and his father love Raymond and DJ will start immediately at lsu. No flip happens

Mario is taking Pickett. These Florida kids and their parents have been waiting to see if Miami will put a better product on the field.

Visiting Miami this weekend.

I don't think its a done deal or anything, but it was always the case if Miami had a good season he would consider them.

team.

Idk if he gets him for sure but you are right about these families waiting on Cristobal to get it right.

Kids want to stay home. Hopefully lsu holds on to him.

I don't think beating a bad Florida team is a good judge to see the true product Miami is putting on the field. If they make the playoffs, sure Miami has a shot at the flip.

The Picketts have a history with Miami football. Booker Pickett Jr is on the team and Mario is recruiting another cousin, Canon Pickett, a 6-5, 300 lb plus high school OL junior. Booker Pickett Sr also played for Miami.

I got to give up to Ruffino who said Miami beat Florida like Georgia would have. This Miami team is built right (focused on OL and DL) and they have their NIL on point. This team and program will go far.

Dj Pickett's cousins were always going to Miami. That doesn't mean dj will.

Now if the Miami defense keeps showing out and Pickett and his dad believe in the secondary coach then he could flip. It's not out of the question.

I still like lsu and Raymond's chances to hold onto him. Without Raymond at lsu Pickett would easily flip.

I did not know he had family on Miami, that is an interesting twist. I'm sure that does play a factor in his recruitment.

Texas tried to get Jabbar Muhammad from the portal in the off season. I figured he was going to be wearing burnt orange this season, because his cousin Malik is our best corner. Ultimately playing time is the reason he picked Oregon over us.

I mention that because even though there are family ties, kids will do what they feel is best for them.

Miami is going to throw a huge bag at him and he already has roots there, going to be tough for LSU to hold on. Hopefully he sees the long term of Raymond making him a first-round pick if he goes to LSU.

He really likes LSU, I think I'd still bet on them keeping him. But I said the day he committed it would be a battle until the papers get turned in.

DJ Pickett (and Solomon Thomas, Ben Hanks Jr., Tarvos Alford, Jarquez Carter, and Shamar Arnoux) will be in Miami for Hurricanes’ game vs Florida State Seminoles.

I'll get downvoted by the LSU fans, but I put odds at Pickett ending up at LSU at 30%. I think he may have already decided to flip to Miami.
