Nice quote from Dhaquille:

quote:

"This is it right here. The LSU situation, I'm not saying I was pressured, but I didn't feel comfortable. I knew since I walked into Auburn, I knew this was home," Williams said.

Louisiana has plenty of great high-school prospects so I doubt it even hurts LSU in the long run.

And not only it this years crop of WR talent great but next years is crazy good too. Tyron Johnson, Daylon Charlot, Jazz Ferguson and Bry'Keithen Mouton at TE. We'll be fine without Quille. It also is possible that everything is sorted out legally and it's safe to come back, however unlikely.

I think anyone that thinks Williams isn't the best WR individually coming out of LA has purple and gold glasses on. I mean heck many LSU fans were saying just that a month ago.

With that said it isn't a huge loss to LSU because ya'll will get 3 or 4 talented freshman. Im sure it sucks to lose a guy like Williams but I wouldn't be overly concerned seeing the instate talent this year. AU on the other hand doesn't have that option and so this was very important kid to get for us

It really is a win-win for both sides. Not sure why so much butthurt from a few fans

If you knew his situation you would know why he decommitted from LSU and decided to stay out of LA

If one of Dupre/Noil/Quinn are not blowing it up as a true freshmen, we may have issues.

Our WR depth will be extremely young, and our Redshirt freshmen/True Sophomore QB Jennings will have to rely on them.

There's been no more butthurt from LSU fans than there has been trolling from Auburn fans.

I wish the kid luck. Hope his situation works out and he gets/keeps his head on straight.

No

It'd be a win-win if he was going to a school we didn't play every year.

I have yet to see a single person claim he isn't the best. Why did you even post this?

I don't think that's the issue. He's a ridiculous talent.

But I'd rather have a guy who's slightly less developed, but will be here for 3 years, than a guy who might show up for one

You really think he was pressured?

This was a guy who said for three years he was only interested in one school, LSU. He gave an interview last year were he said if he got that LSU offer he would shut it down. He knew were he wanted to be. And he's being uncomfortable has nothing to do with being pressure to do anything. It has everything to do with the situation with his cousin. Just know if Quille really wanted it his way, he would still be committed to LSU.

Maybe he just liked Auburn better he was high on Auburn before that happened. Don't be so butthurt about it.
