Recruiting pitch: "come lose to Alabama 3 times and go pro."

The key part of that is "and go pro". It is better than come beat LSU 3 times and go underperform as a pro.

Bama fans are so Butt hurt. They weren't around from 2003-2007 when LSU beat that arse 5 times in a row and didn't need a mulligan

With that logic, I'm guessing you've been spotty at best with a 50-25-1 series record in Alabama's favor.

But congrats on the pick up. Very good player.

Yeah. Claiborne has been fricking terrible.

Everyone acknowledges this, including your fellow L5U fans.

But hey, his teammate has said he's done great this offseason!!

God dude.. this is just wrong. You really have no idea what you're talking about.

Being "fricking terrible" would mean he couldn't even make a team and was on the verge of ending his football career. He played a season, got hurt for a season, came back and had an average season, and is now 100% healthy. If he's 2015 Brandon Browner level next year then we can say he's terrible. But as it stands he hasn't really had solid ground to stand on in the NFL since he's been there. And last year I watched every single Dallas game and he looked good to me. Not bad, not average, but good.

Next time you talk or type PLEASE have somewhat of an idea what you're talking about. Usually I can keep my mouth shut but you just say some of the dumbest shite.

I like how you try to be a decent poster on here and have a civil discussion over the various topics, but as soon as something doesn't go your or Alabama's way you go right back to melting and shite posting/flaming. You just can't help yourself.

Well a few of your fellow LSU posters have said that Kirkpatrick, Barron, and Millner are fricking terrible. So if this is your criteria of terrible then you would agree that they were wrong about them then

Oh and on the DBU subject Bama has more blue chip talent on the secondary and there are more Five Stars on Bama's Secondary (we have 2 five stars playing on the scout team ) so I think that clarifies us as DBU and we have more DBs that have been drafted in the first round than LSU. I think this is enough criteria to claim status as DBU.

Nope. Those players go pro with horrible stats compared to others with much inferior talent, no wins, and no titles. So it's a testament to LSU's ability to evaluate talent and continue to land top talent with the lack of success you have. This is college football. The purpose is to win your games and root for your team. Apparently all you losers give a shite about is being called DBU. Now that is the epitome of a moral victory in my book. Worry about winning.

Also yes we have some underperforming draftees but we also have Barron, Julio, Cooper, Hightower, Dareus, Kareem Jackson, CJ Mosley, Rashad Johnson, your very own Roman Harper, Rolando McClain, and a few others that are solid. Really the only one you idiots harp on is Trent Richardson. Milliner is a likely starter for the jets and Kirkpatrick is a starter for the bengals. Hell, Ingram went to a frickin pro bowl. If you start in the NFL, you aren't underperforming.

You might want to check that 1st round stat again and good troll. But you honestly know where the DBU title floats around at LSU and Florida. Can't name one recruit or coach who has said Bama is DBU. But you have read and heard recruits refer to LSU as DBU ohhhhhh don't believe me go check your recruiting thread on your board

Who cares what coaches and some high school kids say, you can look at the track record of how many blue chip talent Bama has ,to how many prospects Bama has sent to the league and see for yourself. LSU has good secondary talent but the PP7 and Honey Badger era is long and gone, if anything Florida and Bama has a stronger case to say DBU.

Yea who cares what the recruits and their coaches say. I'm way more concerned about what rawltahd69 on TD thinks.

Hey numbnuts we are talking about DBs. The subject matter for your clueless self is whether LSU can rightfully claim the moniker "DBU". As people of your ilk are predisposed to doing, you lie to prove your distorted view of the world. LSU has not had a losing season in recent history and had a title in 2011.

Under your aforementioned standard, can you name one DB who played for LSU in the last 10 years who did not play in the NFL? By the way you sanctimonious Bama fans are the scum of the earth. Before Saban you were getting your butts whipped by MSU, NLU, and a host of others. Now you call teams that have averaged 9-10 wins a season over the last ten years "losers". Pathetic! If you believe Bama will enjoy the success they have under Saban forever, you are in for a big let down. Enjoy it while it lasts. But have a little class about yourself in the mean time.
