You guys are a decent offensive line and QB away from being a very competitive SEC power. It looks like you'll get the OLine haul.

Where do you guys stand with QBs?

Top 100 Harrison Bailey committed for 2020.

That will be a big pickup for yall. Your oline will be firing on all cylinders and gelled by 2020.

Could he flip with Fields gone?

I thought you guys didn't go very hard after him because of his lack of mobility.

I was wondering with Fields leaving if y'all didn't circle back around and try to flip Max Johnson.

He looks a bit like Fromm, and I’m not seeing anything that says this staff maximizes the talent of a mobile qb.

Plus his 5* #1 target is on the way to UGA.

Well, I'm just reporting what the Georgia recruiting guys told me when he committed to Tennessee.

But I agree with your take on the staff with mobile QBs. Yikes. Not very creative.

I wish Fields had worked out as we had hoped, but he just seemed to be scared anytime people came after him. Fromm as much as I've disliked some of his gameplay jumped right in and moved the ball like a pro when Eason went down.

Man I couldn’t disagree more. Early in the season he seemed to play pretty well when he had a more well rounded offense to run. It seemed that pressure negatively impacted Fromm so much that the staff decided to pull back on Justin. The gamble was believing Fromm’s best was worth not giving Fields real reps. When they lined up behind Fromm, Jake played like one of the best QBs in the country.

Were they right? Time will tell.

Doubt it. I mean it could happen and i have no doubt we will recruit him...but how hard is the question. I like the kid, but our coaches don't seem all that high on him for some reason.

This wouldn't surprise me. I am surprised that the coaches seemed to like Johnson better than Bailey. Baily had better stats, I think. Johnson's stats just don't look all that good, but I have heard he is surrounded with a weak supporting cast....and his dad probably has his mechanics in good shape.

I think Kirby was still going to recruit him regardless of the Fields situation. I’m not very high on him or Bailey, but UGA better find a damn good in 2020

He saw what everyone else saw....Justin abandons the pass and commits too quickly to run....it’s evident in his high school film and in his playing time...I’m sure it will get corrected and he will be a great q.b down the road.

Him and Neidermeyer are pretty tight. Spent an hour talking on the field after the florida game and I think Wright has visited Tennessee over 5 times.

VFL Billy Seals doing work for the big orange

One of the Vq mods said earlier that Wright lost his dad at a very young age and because of that, is very guarded and difficult to build trust with. He is supposed to be super tight with Neidermeyer and Will Friend iirc.

Maybe OU could allocate 1% of their bag money to the Defense?

His other WR(Keyton) just signed with us. Will be interesting to watch going forward for sure.
