they've been #1 every year for like 5 years in a row and somehow have less talent than us.

It's what happens when you only have recruiters and no talent developers on staff.

Dude, do you know how many Julius Peppers Sunseri is getting ready to unleash on the world? It's a lot, and they're all gonna just sign for like 11 million dollars a year.

I dont think so, i believe that both LSU and Bama have great recruters as well as talent developers. Both teams know how to develop the talent they recruit.

Congrats on winning in overtime. The enormous talent that LSU had at field goal kicking was the difference in the ball game. If only Nick could develop kicking talent as good as LSU.

Now you better hope a FG is a diff in the NCG or 9-6 isnt going to mean shite.

No its what happens when you have so much talent that they go pro early. Thats the real problem here. We could very easily be going for a three peat right now if all the jrs dont leave early.

Are you saying LSU never has guys leave early? Or are you saying we're only good because we have a senior-laden defense right now?

Is LSU in my post anywhere? Great season, but not everything is about LSU, even here on the rant.

tiger fans forget that in the past 3 yrs. we've had 5-6 underclassmen leave early and get drafted in the 1st round.

My mistake, you entered a thread that was discussing both LSU and Bama, so I figured your post was a compare/contrast of some sort. Apparently it was not.

ETA: And yes, I know that when you assume, people make bad wordplay jokes.

WTF???

bama lost 2 JRs to the draft after the 2009 season.
Rolando McClain
Kareem Jackson

Are you saying those two players would have changed the outcome of 3 games?

Maybe you should move some of that "talent" to the offense.

Can you say they wouldnt have. Both 3-4 year starters replaced by a true freshman and not 100% Hightower. Yes I think we would have lost 1 but not all 3.

I'm not the one making dumb excuses for how 2 players were going to change your season and get you to the national championship game.

It's real easy to recruit when you give out new cars when the player signs.
