Sims had the bad luck of being right after McCannon.

Had Bama not been in ncaa nightmare, Jamarcus Russell would've def. started for us.

just j/k

I was never worried about Brice. But Bateman will be a good one.

Question for any Bama Poster that will answer...

Will Blake Sims get to play this fall?

I really really hate we missed on this kid.

2nd string QB this year.

They say they are working some packages up for him but I'll believe it when I see it.

Actually I believe he will as the back-up, unless Alec Morris comes in & shows that he is better (likely not happening since Morris ran a spread was not an EE, no snaps under C, big enough for SEC football) Sims is #1 back-up, so once the score gets into the 30s for Bama, he will likely see plenty of snaps

I have an alternate question for you sir, do you see Jordan Jenkins seeing any time this year, and is Malcolm Mitchell still gonna be WR or CB? 2 I HATE we missed

WRT to Blake Sims, not likely.

If he wins the back-up QB spot and if AJ gets hurt, he would play.

BS is an incredible athlete we just haven't been able to find his niche. He's not quite good enough to get PT at RB. I think he could be a good WR but we're loaded with young talent there. I always thought Safety might've been his best bet but since then we've brought in Sunseri, Clinton-Dix and LC. We're even loaded at the return spots.

Of course he still has 3 years of eligibility left so anything can happen. But if he doesn't win the back-up QB spot this year then I wouldn't be surprised to see him move on to find more PT next year.

I still hope Bama offers the kid in the videos here as:

-Kid won MVP in the Georgia Rising Seniors Bowl over Reuben Foster, Montravious Adams, Tyren Jones, Alvin Kamara, Carl Lawson, Anthony Jennings, Eddie Printz

-Plays in Georgia's largest class which had 14 different teams ranked in the Rivals Top 100 National Poll at some point during 2011.

-Led the entire state of Georgia in Passing Yards in the Regular Season.

2013 Class Georgia Rising Seniors Game MVP

I'm concerned about the level of competition Bateman faces in Utah versus what Dobbs faces in Georgia's largest class.

I think Jenkins will be under the tutelage of Jarvis Jones this year and we will play him at on the opposite side in passing situations.

I really hope we use MM26 at CB. Supposedly he was the best one we had on the team last year (including Boykin). But the problem is we will need WRs to step up in order for this to happen.

Dobbs is LEGIT. But for some reason I thought he was leaning towards Clempson?

Don't think so. He actually grew up in Bama and I think there is a good chance Bama takes 2 QBs.

He definitely is LEGIT!

Shame. a 5-star QB going to be handing the ball off and throwing screens.

Arkansas fans would rather have a QB that throws for 4K yards than win anything. They love those moral victories.
