I like to imagine Mullen has The Big Board in his office and sticks print outs of diamonds next to the recruits' names. All our recruits are 5 diamond recruits.

Chris Jones had this pinned next to his name

It's your identity that's tied to them -- not ours.

Well with the 38th ranked class in the nation, there's 38 other people who think this way

You can talk shite to USF though, they're at 40

What was our 2011 class ranked again compared to yours? Want to compare actual productivity? Sorry if I'm not concerned about something Rivals thinks you've beaten us in for 10 of the past 11 years. We are fully aware of the joy you get when you win your championships in February. God forbid we take that from you too...

Are you seriously using this argument after bragging about your ranking in the other thread?

Where I used them to point out a stupid comment after endless shite talking from your side? Sure.

Fact is -- it's been a long time since you had a class that actually outperformed one of ours on the field despite ALWAYS winning the party on signing day. Maybe 2013 can be that class for you.

you're just too much fun. You accuse people of moving the goal posts when that's your favorite party trick. You're like Al except you type longer paragraphs.

What goal post has moved?

All I see is a recruiting thread about a potential 5* prospect in Mississippi that hasn't yet shown OM one inkling of interest -- completely full of Ole Miss fans shitting on what was originally a pretty good and informative conversation. As happens with literally every MSU-related thread on this board.

But we are obsessed right?

After the Chris Jones debacle, our bagman won't be outbid again. Furthermore, if it comes down to Freeze vs Moffan for an elite prospect, I like our chances. Then again, this is a very rare situation (Moffan actually being in play for an elite prospect).

Y'all blew your budget last year. Hence why you lost so many major battles OOS this year. I like our chances as long as Mullen doesn't frick up home visits or we lose coaches. Furthermore, this is a huge year for Freeze. You're at the impasse of having to win now and selling early playing time. The latter's shine wears off with time, and it's about that time.

How did we luck into what very well may be the best returning linebacker in the country? Or do you contend that he actually wasn't elite because no one besides MSU bothered to go to Rosa Fort to evaluate him, thus why he didn't have 5 stars beside his name?

Mullen is plenty experienced in keeping the top talent in MS at home. But I forgot -- Freeze owns him now in the state because he "won" Callaway last year.

Leo Lewis was a beast with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 50's. Who ever get him get a stud.

LSU has offered

quote:

Lewis, already a top 250 prospect, is ranked by the 247Composite as the No. 5 middle linebacker in the 2015 class. This past weekend, the LSU staff reached out to the Brookhaven, Miss., standout with an official scholarship offer, and the Tigers are pushing for Lewis to make a visit for junior day later this month. Alabama and Mississippi State are considered the early front runners, but will increased interest from LSU shake things up? Lewis last visited Baton Rouge for the Tigers win over Arkansas in the regular season finale, and he will likely now become one of the staff's top out-of-state targets on the defensive side moving forward.

LSU is definitely a very real threat for him. Was some talk early that he grew up an LSU fan but I've since heard that regarding MSU and Alabama as well. So who knows? I know he's from a part of MS that LSU has considerable influence in -- and you don't have to go but about 20 more miles further south for LSU to be the clear majority fanbase.

He'd be the best LB LSU has signed in some time in my mind if he chooses LSU
