Alabama offered him yesterday. He has offers from LSU, Ole Miss, MSU, Florida and Arkansas as well.

247 Profile

Junior Highlights

The Mississippi State 247 mods have said on more than one occasion they expect him to be a 5-star when it's all said and done:

quote:

LB Leo Lewis of Brookhaven HS - The hard-hitting linebacker from Brookhaven went from a relative unknown to a possible five-star prospect literally overnight. Judging from his video, it is easy to see why.

Lewis quickly picked up offers from MSU, Ole Miss, Oregon State and LSU, and many more will be on the way for Lewis. The humble and well-respected Lewis also plans to take some time before making his decision but yet another top prospect that MSU is very much in the mix with for 2015.

He has 4 Crystal Ball predictions, 2 for Alabama and 2 for State.

What's the deal with this kid Mississippi residents?

ETA: I even got to see my alma mater, Clinton, in his highlight film.

He's really good. He's from Brookhaven where lots of Dawgs live. He'll be a battle but I think he ends up in Starkville.

He's already made plans to attend both OM and MSU Junior Days.

You hearing anything about him?

Alabama was able to pull Jimmy Johns from there.

Unfortunately he wanted to be more like Tony Montana than Tony Dorsett.

I don't doubt y'all's ability to go anywhere and recruit at all. Y'all and LSU(probably AU too eventually) will be there in it. Just expect Al to say he's all dawg for many months.

For some reason Barton Simmons thinks he's coming to Alabama. He predicted him to us last month even though he didn't get an offer until yesterday.

His recruitment will be a slugfest. Regardless isn't it a little early to call a 2015 recruit? I mean 2014 isn't even done yet.

Hell, Auburn got a commitment from a 2016 RB the other day and LSU already has a 2017 commitment.

It's never too early.

I heard that shite. Still early commits always make me skeptical. Too many variables to predict that far out.

Yeah. MS kid with Bama and OM offers. Seems like I've heard this story before. Looking forward to getting my hopes up only for him to go elsewhere at the last minute.

We have a chance with south Mississippi kids. Especially with Magee native, Bo Davis, back on staff.

Even if y'all don't get kids y'all just drive the price up when you get involved. It's what you can do when you're the big dog.

LSU has fared well with the southern Mississippi recruits with Baton Rouge being just as close as Hattiesburg for some.

Will definitely be a battle for him from all 4 schools

Got to give you guys a run for your money. Still can't believe we get outbid by MS schools . The bagman should be fired.

Don't feel too bad y'all shut us out OOS. To use a metaphor: the Alabama schools are Avon and Stringer, we are trying to be like Marlo but y'all still got your corners.

I'm surprised more State fans haven't chimed in seeing as they are seemingly on him more than anyone else at this point.

Seen him play a few times. Going to be a stud in the sec for three years.
