Yeah I guess he did contribute to the anomaly of Alabama losing to Auburn once in a five year span.

If it happens once every five years, that would be a pattern. Mississippi State beating LSU once in 20 years is an example of an anomaly.

So the real reason he committed to USCe is because he apparently didn't know if he was going to get a spot as an EE at Alabama. Now supposedly he has a spot (which means one of the juniors is declaring). Likely will be an Alabama EE soon. Just passing along info from the Bama board and from some "insiders".

Makes total sense.

Thanks for the info.

Regretfully, the recruiting board has turned into a troll board. Probably time to start RA'ing some of these trolls in this thread.

And good luck to Ridley. He's a helluva player. We're not counting this one over yet, but it'll probably end-up another Bama get. No hard feelings.

It does show how conflicted he is though. He isn't sold enough on Bama to not be an EE. If he doesn't end up enrolling in the next week, it's very possible he goes back to SCAR as a regular enrollee.

Sounds like he wants to follow his brother, but wants to make a name for himself. I dunno, Bama is actually pretty stacked with young WRs right now, if he chooses SCAR it wouldn't be a bad decision IMO.

I think he can play if he comes to Bama. You can't underestimate those south fla kids. The two kids that don't play much that he would have to worry about is Charlot and Sims.

Yeah, Cyrus was a fun one.

Does he even play in the NFL?

Seriously I really don't know where he went.

NM, I saw he went to Buffalo

As a Buffalo fan, I can most assuredly tell you he is not playing TE Still at tackle.

He is still a tackle, but started week 16 at TE and came in week 17 as a TE.

Shocker.

That has to be some kind of record of a commitment/decommitment turnaround.
The check bounced...at Alabama we pay in ca$h!

Someone on a SCar board stated that his "mentor" is angling for a job at UGA. Didn't name names or position considering. Wouldn't be the biggest shocker in CFB.

I don't know if there's any truth to that, but it wouldn't be a coaching position
