Agreed on all points...

I don't remember seeing any MS OL, particularly an OT, that looked SEC-ready in highschool. Kids here are always underdeveloped on the OL IMO.

Thomas should be our LT of the future, getting some snaps as a RS FR and starting from RS SO forward...JMO

I think what the coaches see is his size and footwork. Give him a year in the weight room and he could easily be out there

We are but Bama is a TON above both of us.

Freeze really messed up the USP pipeline with how he handled Brassell and the walkon FB from USP.

I do know that if Nck Brassell wants to play in the SEC in 2013 all he has to do is complete 24 hours from now until december to get back at OM. To go to any other D1 school he would have to complete 36 hours. I know that he knows this and is working towards this to get back at OM. I know that AC's big brother is applying for a fifth year of eligibility so he can go..... you guessed it... To OM. I have no idea what every USP player or coach thinks of OM like you pretend to do. But I know that their entire team is coming to camp in two weeks. I also know that two of their alumni (Snoop & Big Connor) are at least trying to get to where they can play at OM in 2013. GFY

24 hours from "right now"... or 24 from the start of summer school? Also, can you count wintersession toward that 24? Could he get that wintersession at OM before going back on scholarship(not sure if juco has it)? So many questions... academic/athletic eligility is ridiculously convoluted.

I won't make any further presumptions on it until I know that much...

24 hours is a good bit to try to get by end of fall semester. Possible, but tough.

I took 18 nearly every semester, 21 once (had to get permission to take that many).

How many can he get this summer? I believe when I was in college, you could only get about 13 total hours over the two summer sessions.

Guess if he could accumulate 10 or 12 this summer, it would be doable.

You have to remember that Brassell didn't pass 18 hours at Ole Miss in a calander year. Gonna be hard to pass 24 in one semester IMO.

He's also at a junior college. He will take health and art appreciation etc. With summer and a whole semester and easy arse classes, for a player that coaches are trying to get elligible, 24 hours shouldn't be hard.

That would be hard. Good thing he has three, possibly four semesters.

He has all this summer, this fall, next spring, and even next summer if he needs it to get eligible by the 2013 season. I don't see how that's so hard to comprehend, or how it will be hard for him to do.
