got to wondering about 5-star flame outs over the past few yrs and other's thoughts:

Fred Rouse - 2005
Ryan Perriloux ? - 2005 (more head case than flame out maybe)
Mitch Mustain - 2006
Arthur Brown - 2008
BJ Scott - 2008
Tyler Love - 2008
Bryce Brown - 2009 (my vote)

Willie Williams is the most epic, for sure.

I dont think Scott and Love ever broke the 2 deep at bama

yall remember melvin aleaze? I think he was a big DE from up north. Ended up going the JUCO or Hargrave route, because of grades. He ended up in prison for like attempted murder or some shite, If I remember correctly.

BJ Scott over Love given the amount of talent and expectations with his signing class (Julio, Ingram, Hightower, etc...)

Love being a 5* was the biggest reason I don't trust scouting sights anymore.

My Fav from the link.

Auburn: ''The girls at the party were much better than the farmer girls we'd see all day around campus,'' Williams said. ``I was kind of worried all Auburn had to offer was those farmer girls that talked funny. But the girls at the party weren't farmer girls at all. I thought they must have bused them in from Miami.''

Florida: ''I ate so many meatballs, the people there started looking like meatballs ... 'The first night I was OK with eating at the stadium. But when they told me we're going to eat there again, I was a little disappointed. I was like, `Take us to Red Lobster or something.' That's when I pretty much made up my mind. I can't live in a place that don't have any restaurants. What am I going to do — fly home to eat shrimp?''
