No one has mentioned anything shady with Winston though.
Nothing shady has gone on with him aside from Craig's hardcore negative recruiting. He just wants to be able to get paid for baseball and play football at the same time. FSU is where he can do that.
Goldman got paid.

brotha this is the time when you just sit back and trust that Saban is the best at this shite. no worries
Im just addicted to following what is going on.
I followed recruiting a little last year, it progressed to be a little more this year and I guess it will be worse next year

For some reason I was thinking Alabama was planning the 1st Jr Day for this coming weekend?

I started following in 1999. It got worse with online sites around 2002. Outside of work, following recruiting and fly fishing is what I do.

I'm pretty sure it's next weekend, but I could be wrong.

What I'm hearing as of tonight...
Cyler Miles is a no go, dad wanted him to visit and it was clear he has a serious issue with UW OC hire, but Bama staff doesn't want to get involved (not insinuating any wrongdoing just a jumbled mess) and Saban would prefer to keep Coach Nuss recruiting history crystal squeaky clean. Not surprised to see the kid end up enrolled at SC, similar to the Gunner situation if that gives any of you a reference point.
Bama still feels very confident on landing 2 more DL, Dalvin Tomlinson is the most likely, thought to be a heavy Ga Tech lean. It seems recently after an in home and a few changes on staff we have again taken the lead. No other explanation except he has come around all of a sudden, both teams run the same D scheme base, just a matter of a much more successful defense, coaches etc, or staying closer to home, and lately word is he is now at ease with leaving the state, and Bama is his choice, will commit on NSD.
2nd is Korren Kirven, a little less confident I'm told, but Bama staff likes its stance still. He is now the top priority at DL for the staff. He was told as much on his OV and ate it up and he will get more of it on Wed when Saban goes on his in home visit. Like previously stated to much smoke, to many great quotes about how he felt on his OV. The obstacle is Momma, who wants him closer to home. I believe the in home visit will work wonders for this situation and after Wed it will be common knowledge that he will be coming to Bama, like I said Staff has confidence, so do I
No date has been set yet for Jameis Winston in home, might come tomorrow, will know more after that, and no wrongdoing to speak of in this one, D.Craig slander the hell outta both in state schools to the dad, who I believe will force JW to go to F$U
Every other school OS basically out of it for Goldman, that is what I'm hearing, but it is interesting to note that it has gotten SO quiet in his camp, might be just NSD drama and if so closer it gets the truth will come out. He is an absolute take of course, but likely not getting him, staff doesn't feel confident.
Avery Young will likely end up at UGA, but if he has a spot (if Greene switches to UGA, don't think he will, just what I was told) he will be a replacement, again don't expect a switch though. Note though that Greene is higher on both staffs priority list, for a year with very little OL talent, a great talent.
Kwon will be accepting Bama's grey shirt offer, it is not suprisingly since he is a huge Bama fan. Now he has to get healthy, but as of tonight I am hearing he WILL be a part of this class.
So as of tonight the finish I am hearing will be:
Dalvin Tomlinson
Korren Kirven
Kwon Alexander as a grey shirt
Still holding out hope on Winston, way too much smoke, but staff will know exactly where it stands later this week

If he picks LSU, wouldn't bother me a bit
Hell of a player, better instictually than a lot I've seen this year and absolutely packs the lumber but truth is he ravaged his knee, give him a year and he will be a beast IMHO

He has all the time in the world if he picks LSU. Our class will have 6 LB's.

It is hard for me to believe that Brandon Greene would switch.
quote:
"It was good," Greene said. "It wasn't even like a visit. It was like I just went home to family. They weren't really telling me anything new because I already knew everything, and I've already been everywhere. It's just my family now."

Our classes have 6 LBs ever year.

Yeah but your state and GA produce them the way LA produces Skill positions.

Plenty of great QBs in the 2013 class, including my personal favorite, Jonathan McCrary.
