Bama fans - promise me you all aren't taking NPF

I can handle losing a kid to Notre Dame; supposedly he's one of the most academically focused players in the class and ND is a great school, a better school than UF.
I would be a little melty if he went to OSU, after "not officially an accessory to child rape" Schiano got him on campus and Urban closed the deal, but again, that's what Urban does and OSU is a similar school to UF with a better established program in a new place. Maybe he's dead set on going out of state.
If fricking Alabama, wealth beyond measure, takes another top-flight OT from Florida just because "frick you, that's why"; if a recruit who has said nothing but academics, academics, academics goes to Tuscaloosa - getting better but not within the scope of the other contenders here - I will melt so fricking hard. I'll make V&S look like a sane and rational actor, a pillar of the community. I may give up on following recruiting altogether.

We'd love to have him, obviously, but looks like less than 50% chance of landing him at this point depending on who you listen to - the most homer of homers in our fan base have him in this class, but most are just hopeful.

I don’t think anybody knows what NPF is going to do. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was UF or ND, I would be shocked if it was OSU or Alabama

I think he heads out of state...either ND or OSU.

One of the OSU insiders says OSU feels pretty good, but in no way am i getting my hopes up. We just got him on campus, but it is a HUGE position of need for OSU right now, and OSU is a title contender annually. Would be a good mix based on what he has said, but I think UF gets him due to distance factor

US News College Rankings:
UF - 42
Ohio St. - 54
Alabama - 110
But none of this really means anything unless we are comparing degree programs.

It was better than i had hoped it could possibly be
I think he ends up at UF anyway

They are three big state schools....no real difference....Notre Dame I will concede is better obviously.
If he was that concerned he would be like that kid who just turned Bama down to play for Princeton.

OSU gaining CBs left and right. If Urban pulls this off would be huge

Meyer is deadly when he has the last visit with a recruit. I say Ohio St wins this one.

Meyer is just a machine on the recruiting trail. Just damn.

In the end the only real value to campus you decide to attend is which one will give you the best opportunity for employment once you graduate and then that will vary based on where you want to live and work.

Since it appears that OSU is the pick, I am, as promised, only slightly melty. Urban closes better than any HC in the business. Schiano opened the door and Urban slammed it shut.
