No way we're top ten, and whoever took that bet was either dumb or drunk.

I think we will finish in the 10-15 range. I'm fine with that as long as we are filling needs.

From July 9th on our QB...
A tale of 3 QBs: Kiel, Winston decisions due and there's a hidden gem in Phenix City
LINK
Jonathan Wallace doesn't have the name brand of Kiel and Winston just yet, but the 6-1, 200 pounder from Central High on the Alabama-Georgia border heads into his senior season with plenty of attention.
Oregon has offered. Clemson and Tennessee are bombarding him with letters.
"He has some of the intangibles that you really can't see or put a finger on," Lowe said. "The guy is a natural leader, a great student with an impeccable character. To be honest, he's going to be fine wherever he goes. He's a tremendous competitor.
"I think he's SEC caliber. I've seen a lot of SEC quarterbacks in the past, and he's one of them. But, right now, SEC teams can pick and choose."

This class is heavily leaned toward offensive talent. Where the hell is all the defensive talent?

Posted on 2/1/12 at 9:41 am to I Love Bama
That completely changes things. That time last year I would have expected top ten, and I think it still would be if Chizik hadn't decided to wait until a few weeks ago to finally hire a damn coordinator.
