As a recruit.. Texas or Texas A&M
Definitely Texas. Less of a chance of getting arrested there than in College Station.

FIFY. Look up the Texas rap sheet from 2003-2008 if you want more info.

There's not another university's fanbase that would push a "as a recruit... us or them" thread this hard other than A&M. If Aggies were so confident in their program as it compares to Texas, they would have let this thread go a long time ago. But hey, do what you need to do to feel good about yourselves

They seem uncomfortable in their own skin.

Apologies for resurrecting this ridiculous topic, but I was sent this thread by a friend and fellow Longhorn. This is an amazing collection of opinions, a truly eye opening forum that I hope you SECers took as an education in all things aggy. They are yours to laugh at now.
Texas A&M has been, and always will be, the little brother that UT never wanted. They are the perennial Have-Nots of our state. Their brand is ubiquitous with overt insecurity and bleating rants about tradition and T-sips. Rather than address the myriad of inaccuracies and misguided comments individually, I will leave this thread with this:
1. A common misconception that seems to crop up every few comments is that A&M's great recruiting class somehow equals success. As a Longhorn faithful, I can point to the last ten years of the Horns routinely kicking aggy in the teeth when it came to recruiting. Let me be the first to say: 4/5 star recruits does not a season make. There are too numerous examples to list. Which brings me to...
2. Aggy hasn't won anything on the field. Not in years. They will crow about how many committed recruits have Texas offers (like the opposite isn't true for the last, oh, fifty years, but we don't keep score). But they can't argue Ws.
3. They are a flash in the pan. College football is cyclical. Every now and then a player comes along (JFF, who desperately wanted to go to UT, has a Longhorn tattoo, and hates College Station- thanks Mack) who brings a historically mediocre team out of the gutter, but history has shown that the cream always rises over time and the sediment drifts to the bottom.
Alright, enough. I don't want to pile on too much because watching this show if pure entertainment. Aggy tears are an ambrosia I can't even begin to explain to those out of state commenters, but I'm glad you're getting to experience what we have been putting up with in Texas for decades.

Nice. Also would you please apologize to your texas brethren for me personally and the majority of the sec for not heeding the warnings prior to our expansion.

I gotta say, I'm stunned that horns are sharing emails with links to this kinda stuff.
Anyone who says Ags are obsessed ... look no further than this thread.
Move on, sips.
And go find you some Jesus, thegivingsteve.
