He has lost interest in OM (Conner) also a few insiders on the Bama side were told as soon as last week not to give hope on RN (were told not to take him off the board on AI.com) also told if his dad could choose he would tell RN to go to BAMA fwiw...

Throwing my bullshite flag on all of this.

Well the way I see it is every recruit we have missed out on during the saban era is basically a their loss situation and basically all they would have been is another guy with a ring and high draft pick

For some reason, every article from ESPN mentions LSU as a possibility for Connor, but I've never seen that anywhere else. I really doubt that we are a serious player for him at all.

Doesn't LSU have another top rated safety from Mississippi committed for 2014? Do y'all even need to go after Conner?

So you're saying we should pass on a 5-star in 2013 cause we have a verbal from another 5-star in 2014? Makes total sense.

In all honesty, I don't know why Conner even listed LSU in his top 4. I don't think we've spent hardly any time recruiting him (which is stupid IMO).

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

A 2014 commit doesn't mean much right now, a lot can happen between now and NEXT february

FWIW Conner will be at the Mississippi State vs Auburn game this Saturday.

I really like our chances in landing Conner.

I like Bundy's chances in being Bundy in two weeks.

"State has no shot at Conner. All Bama, because I refuse to acknowledge Ole Miss!"

Smart money for Conner is on Ole Miss. It's USP and Ole Miss. State fans seem to have created a false story about the SP coaches hating Ole Miss for releasing Brassel. However, Chances are you haven't seen the last of Snoop Brassel at Ole Miss.

Try again. Connor has a sister who is a student at STATE. He has no connection to OM like Brassell did.

If he chooses anybody other than State it will be Bama

First of all, I didn't claim anything, just stated a fact and asked a question. With LSU already having a Jeremy Cutrer committed and with Voorheis already being committed next year I would think that Conner wouldn't be as high on the recruiting board for LSU or as much as a priority as keeping Voorhies happy.

So with this logic RN is OM all the way?

Wait, what? LSU is not getting Conner or even recruiting him hard for that matter. Voorhies is an athlete and could end up at WR or Safety. I wasn't talking about LSU. State fans have said several times that SP coaches are upset at Ole Miss. It's not true, and never has been true. If you knew their staff you would know. Do I honestly have to remind state fans about the boosters of Ole Miss? You guys formed so many stories about them over the years, by now it should be a given.

Apparently so. If he doesn't go to Ole Miss, we will pay him to go somewhere else other than State. That's usually how it works.

This is prob true, just like he couldn't tell any of the coaches the 2 times he visited Bama the last month (late July - August) then when word came out about 1 of the visits he got chewed out for it.

He's a lot different kid though than the USP pipeline kids from what I've heard, not gonna be brainwashed
