I've never understood why people don't take kickers and punters more seriously. You could argue that from a net yardard and points perspective, they have as much impact on field position and points as everyone on the field but the QB. Great get UA.

You're absolutely right.
Special Teams have played a major role in Alabama's current run, both in wins and losses, and to view them as an afterthought is crazy.
Even long snappers are valuable in today's game.

Nice. Special teams can win or lose a game for you. Good punters and kickers are a very valuable asset to a football team. Nice steal.

I always say this too about skill players until a punter shanks a punt at a critical moment.
