Just heard from a reliable source that Devonta Pollard will be signing with Alabama tomorrow.

I hope all these reports are true. We will have a pretty good roster in 2013-2014 assuming Hale and Taylor both stick.

Releford
Lacey
Randolph
Cooper
Pollard
Taylor
Hale

That's a solid core of players.

Hopefully they sign early. What about the other guy from VA?

Congrats if true. Big land and makes waiting it out that much easier.

I am struggling against overconfidence. This has been such a bizarre, drawn out recruitment that still nothing would surprise me. Even him going to LSU wouldn't shock me (just checked out the thread on him on there and some guy, who's supposed to be legit, was claiming yesterday that he was coming for a last minute visit, seems absurd given all the information out there, but seriously, who fricking knows when it comes to this kid).

Yeah he's certainly an anomaly. But y'all have been a constant in all of this and we were too late in the game IMO. You're right, anything could happen. But I'm just not expecting us.

To be fair, him going to LSU would kind of shock me. I mean, his mom named four finalists and LSU weren't on the list. That would be some hardcore trolling.

But nothing would totally shock me, it certainly wouldn't be that surprising if he picked somebody besides Alabama (again, Missouri would cut somebody in a hurry so I don't care that they're full).

That said, it's us or Texas most likely and I feel pretty good.

I've been reading some things on Barber and I feel optimistic about him, especially if we can get him to visit sometime during the summer. He speaks highly of us and Grant in every article. Grant is his main recruiter while Kansas is only using their top assistant. That has to count for something.

Man a lot is riding on Pollard and the success of our program for the future.

Out of state PG that rolled with us saw immediate PT and is loving life on campus. Yea Id say CAG is most definitely getting Releford to host him when he visits.

This is what Brian Snow from scout said when I asked what his prediction was:

My guess has been and continues to be Alabama. Don't have a great feel, just a few people I have talked to expect him to stay close to home, so I am picking the Tide.

He was no.1 according to alot of outlets. Our best shot after that was Cousins but dude's rep was poisoned by the time Grant got to Bama.

Just looked up Richard Hendrix and he was ranked #9 by rivals.

We actually recruited well enough to be a top program but lack of coaching and kids transferring out messed everything up.
