About time. Kid has talent, but is not a good team mate. From somebody at TexAgs

quote:

So you know who you're dealing with:
He didn't play the Ole Miss or Miss St games even though he was cleared.
Practiced the next week and played because that's when he was due to get paid.
Then didn't practice or play against LSU. Hasn't practiced since.
Waited to enter the portal after he got paid on December 15.

Good riddance.

Word is the team isn't upset in the least. He literally quit on his team two of the last three years going back to high school

It's not a TAMU thread until CoAg comes in to defend their honor

We're in the market for another transfer receiver, but Ole Miss can have this one.

I've been waiting on the kid to leave for weeks. It isn't a secret that he had one foot out the door halfway through the season. In his defense, we were terrible.
But at least Walter Nolen played the games and finished the season. He didn't quit. I expect Nolen to be gone as well, FYI

Stewart will go somewhere and be successful if he can be motivated to play the game

He is but there are some who think he might come back. Seems obvious that won’t happen but our fans are dumb

Not even interested in landing Stewart to be honest. He's incredibly talented but you're going to be paying an absurd amount of money for a cancerous one year rental.

Nolen won't be back. Shemar Stewart is back again, and there is momentum that Shemar Turner may come back for one more year.

Personally, the NIL money for Nolen, Diggs, and Evan Stewart can be used in other areas to improve the team for next year. Probably at DB, WR, and LB.

Please understand. A&M is losing a talent in Stewart, but his attitude sucks and his team mates would be glad to clean out his locker. Kind of like Denver Harris last year - ask LSU how he turned out.

He still has a chance to be productive.

This is the second team he’s quit on. It will come off as sour grapes but most of our fans have known he was gone since he quit practicing with the team several weeks before the season ended.

Some of the kids we are losing like Nolen are drama off the field but are pros when it’s time to play. Others like Overton and Diggs are good kids looking for a fresh start or different environment. Stewart is pretty toxic on and off the field in my opinion.

A&M would he better off with less Divas on the team. WRs who are willing to block are more valuable to this offense.

Well, LSU's coaches and teammates haven't given up on him.
