FWIW Clemson has raked in talent at WR for a little while now, we kind of took off last year, but had nice hauls in 2018 and now 2020.

Clemson got the #7, #9 & #60 WRs in 2019. The #4 & #7 WRs in 2018. The #2 & #16 in 2017. No commits for 2020 right now.

By contrast LSU got the #3, #5 and #8 WRs in 2020. The #18 WR in 2019. The #3, #15, #55 & #73 WRs in 2018. #90 and #310 WRs in 2017 (although 1 of those is Justin Jefferson).

It takes more than a couple classes to knockoff Clemson from WRU. It's inarguable right now.

Only U OU is is Championship drought U.

I won't even give you QB U. Every time your guys win the Heisman they turn around and get embarrassed in a big game.

How many receivers does OU have in the league? And how many actually make an impact?

Your answer will automatically rule you out of being WRU

In terms of volume, it’s LSU.

But I’d put Julio, Cooper, and Ridley up against most anyone.

If we are determining success on recruiting rankings, Georgia would have a national title by now

Don’t tell LSU fans that. They have been recruiting as well as they are now for 10+ years but now it’s all different. Ed O is going to make the difference this time around.

Well, that was random.

eta: I guess fans shouldn't be excited when their team lands elite recruits anymore, huh?

Rumors going around that Jarret reached out to OSU before Mookie Cooper committed and OSU wouldn't take him into the class. Said he wants out of LSU.

Apparently a 247 bucknuts subscription article says the same

Then why not decommit?

Link to article?

tOSU mods havent been so hot recently with some of their news, so hard to take anything they say with a grain of salt.

I guess he doesn’t want to lose his spot or cause drama with Lsu if he doesn’t have a better option in his opinion.

Yes I can see why OSU would pass on a 5* and third highest rated WR in this years class. Makes perfect sense.

Oh if the Bucknuts paid subscription says it then I guess it all makes sense now

He claims he wants to be out altogether, again he would just decommit if that's the case. Doesnt really make any sense. My guess is this is blow-back from Jarret telling tOSU fans to kick rocks in that Ricks is trolling them recently.

On top of that, there's a zero percent chance tOSU was telling a 5-star WR "thanks but no thanks". That's ridiculous

Ohio State, nor anyone in the country, turned down Rakim Jarrett. Both he and Jermaine Burton would have a spot at any program of their choosing, at any time.

LSU is dominating WR recruiting right now.
