Nothing better than hearing Bama fans whine about Kirby’s recruiting tactics - the same tactics he used for 9 years at Bama to grab recruits for the Tide and help establish their dynasty as the ace recruiter.

This kid is a great get for GA. I hoped we had a shot, but when he did not come, it seemed clear.

I read on the AU boards that Auburn hasn’t signed a HS OT recruit in the last 3 cycles - is that true? That cannot be true.
Before Kirby got to UGA, we had real hard time recruiting OL as well.

I don't think it is over, personally. I mean, certainly it doesn't look good for Auburn. but we also thought we had Derrick brown wrapped up, too.
That was a great get for Auburn and a horrible miss for us.

Before Kirby got to UGA, we had real hard time recruiting OL as well.
That would be counting this cycle, which is not over yet....but they signed one, I think....Stutts.
They have gotten some pretty good guards, but for whatever reason they struggle with tackles. They have gotten a couple of Junior College kids, too, I think.
They might be signing guards that they believe can be moved over to tackle, too. They should do better going forward with their new OLine coach.
