If yalls offense starts performing well LSU will be in a good spot. If Francois wasn't doing a medical redshirt they'd be #1 imo. I think we have the lead but we need to have a good 10 win season and win the east.
ETA: I think Francois is doing a med redshirt, am I correct?

I don't get why this would matter.
I mean we are losing a ton after next year on both sides of the ball. What does it matter what we win? I mean he might be watching to make sure we are not a complete dumpster fire, but I highly doubt winning it all is a big deal.
Fields needs to come to UGA because he can red shirt and take the reins in one year (if he is good enough). He has already stated he doesn't mind red shirting.
The University of Ga needs a god damn title. ITs been too long. Come young one, and lead us to the promise land

If JF comes to UGA we'll be in damn good position. Imagine if Kirby pulled the #9 class, #3 class and a top 5 class(with JF). We'd be stacked and championships inbound

I almost feel like it would be better if UGA had an average year. If they go off, especially with Fromm, it's going to be hard to come in an unseat the QB that got UGA back to Atlanta as a true freshman.

Honestly, we can have a great year and it still may not be offputting. Our offense has been pretty pedestrian with Fromm at the helm. Don't take that the wrong way, I'm happy with his performance... but *as a freshman*. He's not lighting the world up but we're winning on his ability to play within the system and minimize mistakes so that our RBs and Defense can grind out the win.
It's still early, so who knows if the lack of offensive threats downfield hurts us in game(s) going forward, but if we don't see some kind of offensive explosion between now and the end of the season, I don't see why it would be scary for Fields. He brings an element to the offensive game plan that neither Fromm or Eason offer... we'd be able to eliminate the "Wild Dawg" altogether and all of the read option/RPO stuff that we're doing with Fromm right now that literally no one believes he might take off and run with would immediately have a different level of credibility...
All of this is a bit dependent on what happens with Eason... practicing this week but who knows how "close" he is to getting back on the field. If Eason is back by Tennessee or the week after, his performance going forward may largely tell us what we need to know. He didn't look great in 8 snaps against App State but I'm not reading much into that. If the coaches liked him better than Fromm enough to name him starter as early as they did, I've got to think the offense runs better with him at the helm in practice. If that shows up on the field, it would only serve to further show Fields that there is room to win that competition after a redshirt season.

They weren't in the lead before the injuries.

Said the same thing when Florida was out of the running. Not going to Georgia who has a baller quarterback.

Then why does he keep visiting? That’s 3 visits on his own dime in the last month.

Newberg (Noles247 guy) said he's on the verge of switching his crystal ball pick to UGA.

Weird how he has a Nole t-shirt on at school on September 19th.
But he's not playing anyone, right?
