Does Mullen negative recruit to the degree Kirby does, though?

It’s funny because the roles were completely reversed 10 years ago when Meyer was doing the exact same thing

No I think everyone saw where you tried to say UF is innocent and pure...it’s how you excuse the shitty recruiting.

Sorta hard to negative recruit when you don't recruit much.

Florida talking smack about Georgia's recruiting practices in a Trey Sanders thread is histerical. Florida gave Trey's brother a spot in attempt to land Trey, and Georgia is still going to take him from y'all.

I don't think Mullen really cares to recruit period, Mac was probably a stronger recruiter.

Right, it’s just a Florida fan made conspiracy, stating the obvious of what’s going on in Georgia recruiting. Nobody else has ever mentioned it

There are tons of window lickers in cfb. who gives a shite

No, its simply that platitudes dont negate accusing a coach of running a grimy program. Every uga poster here knows what a relentless, hyper competitive bastard kirby is on the recruiting trail. He came to us from a program that is disappointed with anything less than a top 3 class every year. It aint rocket surgery

You're blind if you don't think Kirby negative recruits more than many other coaches. Bama isn't the only school that feels that way, FYI. It's not against the rules, though. Hell, he took a pic of Bama's recruiting board and it helped with Tyler Simmons.

Please enlighten us on which schools feel that way and how you have come by this information?

What schools "feel" right now is jealousy

There’s no way to quantify who negative recruits more than others every school does it and, keep in mind, before he perfected the craft at UGA Kirby learned and practiced all he knows for Bama under Saban. If Bama fans are salty and mad at Kirby it’s because he’s a beast of your own creation

but part of it is he’s figured out the under the table stuff too.

I was at a preseason luncheon and the speaker was a 247 Sports recruiting insider. He said some stuff that I doubt he would ever put in print on a website.

According to the Insider, after Kirby took over at UGA, an attorney started having meetups with boosters that would follow the booster meetings in the offseason. The attorney lays out exactly how the boosters can cheat and not get caught by the NCAA.

Cheating is happening everywhere. Some schools just do it way more and way better than others.

Go watch the documentary about “The Bagman” by the Ole Miss guy. It’s on YouTube. The bagmen aren’t even known by the HC so Kirby is not likely to be doing any actual cheating himself. It’s more likely Kirby only hears a “rumor” that one of his recruit’s family members got “help” and that swayed the kid. Such a method keeps Kirby clean and the kid clean....how can the NCAA rule against a kid if some random person wants to give the kid’s relative $10,000? The kid got nothing.

Now if a coach buys that recruit a hotdog cause the kid is hungry or gives the kid a ride because the kid doesn’t have a car, well by god the NCAA will drop the hammer on that!

The NCAA has no power to stop the real cheating.

Say this is true, I wonder where Kirby learned about that move...

Yeah, I'm pissed Saban doesn't negative recruit to the degree Kirby does. Our bag men need to step it up, too. Losing Sanders and Neal, who appeared to be locks, after just one recent visit that magically sways them to UGA, is alarming.

Can you describe what negative recruiting Alabama even looks like? Like, how is Alabama even concerned with negative recruiting?

UGA's RB coach is one of the best recruiters in the nation. I would not call that alarming, and you all are stacked at RB. I have serious doubts that we get Neal. I think that is an internet wet dream that has been spread to the point that people think it is true.

It’s because both saw that all the negative shite Saban told them about UGA wasn’t true...

Only reason we would bet Neal is 1.) Pittman 2.) Nolan Smith & Sanders 3.) could take over at either tackle spot as early as 2020 if Thomas and/or Wilson jump early
