You are mistaken annoyance for arrogance. See UA fans have had to put up with fans like UGA now and in the past UF, LSU, Ole Miss and whoever. It becomes very annoying.
No one gives a flying frick how annoyed y’all are.

It would be a shot in the arm for UF to pull Trey, but I think he goes Bama. UGA really doesnt need him nor would he start like he wants to do over the 2 backs they have.

The reality no matter what you want to believe is Kirby has really not done anything different then Richt his first 3 years on the field.
CMR-32-8(8-4, 13-1, 11-3) finishing ranked #22, #3, and #6 winning the SEC his 2nd year and going on to win the Sugar Bowl.
CKS-32-9(8-5, 13-2, 11-2) finishing ranked NR, #2, we will see. Won the SEC his 2nd year and went on to win the Rose Bowl.
Maybe recruiting like he is will change that but we will have to wait and see. So little pups fire back and tell me I am wrong and the same things we have heard for years. Let the the the little kitties from the swamp jump in as well.
Looks like we found out who owns the Powhound alter

But seriously, if you just look at those raw numbers then sure, you can draw that conclusion but you're smarter than that.

Mark Richts wins never translated to recruiting success at least in comparison to the top tier SEC schools. He routinely finished outside of the Top 10 and often behind 4 or 5 other SEC schools namely Bama, Florida, Tennessee , LSU and sometimes Auburn with the occasional anomaly of a Top 10 class.
Kirby Smart has Georgia not only recruiting as the top representative in the SEC East which is only something that started once Kirby arrived but also like the elites of the elites beating the likes of OU, Clemson, Ohio State and others which are teams routinely around the playoff discussion. Kirby put Georgia on the map and the games vs Bama have been close both on the field and on paper. It’s not like your just coming in and blowing us out like the blackout game. Any rational fan can see the difference but no one will accuse you of that.
This I agree with because I do feel Kirby is better at developing players at least it seems that have been proven. I also think the future should be alot brighter as well.
Maybe this it irrational but UGA was the better team on the field for both games in my opinion

The whole premise to the comparison between Kirby and Richt is flawed for a couple of reasons:
1. Richt’s first 3 years are precisely why he was beloved by the fan base. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the first 3 seasons of Richts tenure
2. Not only did Richt not even play for a title or beat a team like Oklahoma in a game like the Rose Bowl, he never got close in 15 years. Kirby managed to put his team in position and win a big game against a good, name brand opponent in year 2.
Never mind that Kirby’s recruiting successes so far completely eclipse Richts best years recruiting.

I know jumping into this thing is a terrible idea, but............Richt would have been in the playoff at least 2 times, maybe 3. Using AP polls
- The 2002 team would have played #1 Miami in a semifinal game (in year 2, as SEC Champ, with 1 loss, just like Kirby)
- The 2007 team would have played #1 Ohio State in a semifinal game
- The 2012 team would have had a rematch with #1 Alabama in a semifinal game (OSU was ineligible)

Every non-uga on this board seems to love Mark Richt. But I guarantee none of you want him as your HC.

I'd take first 5-7 years at UGA Mark Richt in a heartbeat. After that, not so much.

Normally I would agree, but we think Holyfield will go early. Sanders would probably become the "in between tackles" runner. It would be between him and McIntosh.
The three man rotation our coaches prefer would probably become Swift/Cook and one of Sanders/McIntosh/White. White would probably take over the lead back in 2020 if he is fully recovered.

Dude. So do I. SOG just beat me to that post. Richt was a good coach. Now, it was time for him to go, but he was not nearly as bad as some seem to want to paint him.

Or ya know he can come to Alabama and split carriers with Najee and be a 1,000 yard rusher as a freshman.

It is both unless you fail to read.
1) Both have great 1st 3 years with UGA. The numbers prove that.
2) Any UA fan will say UGA outplayed UA in both games in most aspects of the game.
Not sure how one relates to the other

So glad i acquiesced to allow the thread to return to troll-free, data driven splendor

Do you think your staff makes, and keeps, recruiting promises that negatively impact your offense? From the outside looking in, it appears that they do, but I was wondering if Georgia fans felt this as well.
