Sad story. He ended up transferring out and then some time after that he was involved in a fatal car accident.
Crap. I do remember that now. Thanks.

That class of running backs was unreal, though. I can't imagine there being a better single class.

If what your 600 "insiders" are saying is true and Trey Sanders is a lock, why would Kirby need to bother with Williams?
Who has said Sanders is a lock? I have seen insiders say we are trending strongly, but have not seen any say he is a lock. I haven't seen any Georgia posters say he is a lock, either....although it wouldn't surprise me if some said it to troll or out of ignorance.
That said, what about the Alabama posters saying he is Alabama bound? I mean, isn't Alabama trying to get Williams on campus, too?

Pretty sure almost every comment has said something to the effect of:
"If ESD was today, he'd be a Dawg BUT... recruiting continues"... I don't think anyone in their right mind would just assume that Nick Saban and the Alabama staff would just roll over and not make a push to change the decision...

So now Watts is considered a good source of information. Good to know. He's gotten quite a bad rap from your fellow fans over on Dawgs247.
To be fair, it was a reply to you, and you've made it clear that you trust Watts... it would seem appropriate to point out that because someone *you* tend to believe to be credible says something that it should help demonstrate his point to *you* better... Not that we necessarily believe him...

Who are these 600 insiders? I don’t need all of the names, but if you don’t mind providing 10% of their names, I’d like to see what they said specifically.

And half of the threads on the Bama board are about UGA and Kirby so what’s your point? Both boards are made up of dumbasses.

On Trey Sanders I am feeling really good.
Wiltfong commented to your BOL guys that he is hearing UGA is a serious contender, after he was skeptical at first about it.
Trent Smallwood at Rivals UGA is 42/42 on picks for UGA the last two cycles. He added Sanders to his mock class, and forecasted him to the Bulldogs.
And during a post on Rivals board about how confident Texas is feeling on Sanders, the infamous "Bulldog Bob" appeared and told the OP to make a wager with the Texas fans on it. I dont normally talk about insiders like him, but he is 100% legit. The only person he was ever wrong on was Brown. The guy never posts much but if he does its solid.
That one little post by Bulldog Bob has nearly 550 likes. That's how much people think of him over there.

A guy on BOL posted this last night. I don't know what Texas site he is alluding to:
Less than a week to go.

Texas now thinks that the visit went great today and they lead for Sanders. Even saw a rumor that they got a silent commit

This is true.
I have seen Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas tied to him in the last 3-4 days.

But we are going to get him. Lock.

What will the rationalizing be for either side should Sanders go to Bama or UGA lol

At this point I'm convinced Sanders is telling UGA, Bama and Texas he's coming there

Oh and Americus added Sanders to his predicted class. Tide you know that man is pretty damn solid.

that was sarcasm that turned into a rumor.. Sanders to anyone but Bama would be a complete shock.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I haven't seen any legit UGA insider or recruiting analyst refer to Sanders as a lock. We have an in home with him this morning, the last one for any school. Then he'll go to UF for an OV. Then he'll commit. Sitting well and lock are two different things. But we feel good right now. Kirby won't be caught with his pants down. Neither will Saban evidently as he also has made contingency plans. Just the smart thing to do.

I think we both have that down to a science. "DJ's tape looks just as good as Sanders."
Posted on 12/14/18 at 10:16 am to koreandawg
Although I like DJ and his tape, his competition wasnt much as far as opposing teams.
Sanders had nearly 200 yards of rushing against the #1 team in the country. That means something against top talent.
Or atleast it does to me....

Nah they already jumped on me on our board when I said if Jacobs does not leave for the draft we should not take another back in the class.

That excuse is hard to sell.
I'd go with, "There just isn't room in the backfield at UGA, and seeing a bunch of transfers from unhappy RBs won't look good to future recruits."
