He isn’t a 5 Star on 247’s own thing though.

I mean it’s possible the rivals update will put him over the edge in the composite but I won’t hold my breath.

Better chance that Bryce Young is a 5 star.

The narrative that came out of Elite 11 was King didn't have the arm strength on his ball.
Doesn't have the zip of Bryce Young

According to aggy they think he was head and shoulders better than everyone there.
This wasn't the case. People were impressed with his athleticism, decision making skills and any ball thrown under 25 yards.

Not a 5 star QB.
High 4 star maybe.

Going off the reports from the Elite 11 camp compared to other QBs.

aggy wants everything.
You can't just claim that a QB has elite skills in everything. Very few QBs are like that especially at 17.

I have watched him in person many times and that simply isn't true.

Regardless if he ends up a 4 star or 5 star, he's a very good QB who should excel at the next level. That is all that should matter.

Compared to who?

Compared to the other top 3 or 4 QBs.

He didn't.
This was said before Elite 11 and said after.

He doesn't drive the ball downfield with zip like a Bryce Young.

All the national scouts and people around Texas say the same thing.

You want to read Gabe Brooks scouting report on King

Not everyone gets their information from Billy Liucci

"Long-framed, athletic quarterback with true dual-threat ability. Grew two inches from sophomore to junior year. Lean, sinewy build, but terrific frame space and big hands. Outstanding athlete who runs the 400, the 4x400 relay, and throws the discus. Also plays basketball. Flashes big-play top-end speed in the read game. Perhaps at his best throwing on the run. Very accurate on the move and throws with impressive touch. Has shown terrific ball placement even when throwing across body on the run. Extends plays with his athleticism. Plays with calm, poised demeanor. Coach's kid with high football IQ. Fierce competitor. Dangerous on the run but will stand in the pocket and deliver under duress if required. Shows above-average arm strength, but can improve overall throwing power - which should come with further development and physical maturity. Must continue to add bulk to fill out frame and improve overall strength. Displays excellent knack for varying arm angles as needed, but needs to quicken release and shorten delivery. Highly productive dual-threat QB with great physical traits and huge production for a Texas Class 6A D-II state title team as a junior. Definite P5-caliber starter with top half of the NFL Draft potential."

Doesn't drive the ball like a 5 star QB.
As much as you want him to be this QB he isn't yet.

Great QB but not a total package until his arm strength reaches that of the other top tier QBs

Good Lord why is this guy here. Since when does "above average arm strength but has room to improve" equal doesn't have arm strength. GTFO with this crap

aggy is sad.....

You want me to say he has an arm like John Elway...

Bryce Young isn't even a composite 5 star and he is better than King.

Reason why he is better than King is because of his arm.

Above average arm strengths get you to 4 star even though you have a lot of other qualities

Montgomery hill is an insecure troll with Aggie penis envy. He has yet to comment on anything that isn't A&M related. We've determined it's because his woman dumped for an Aggie.

Over here talking about Haynes King and not aggy.

Him committing to A&M has nothing to do with my opinion
Would say the same thing if he went to any school even Texas...

Unlike aggy

That is what happens when you belong to the cult
Anything outside of your cult is an attack.

No one is attacking anyone.

Just making a point about why Haynes King isn't a 5 star QB.

200 posts and still debating whether or not the kid is ranked a 5 star.

It only takes 1 post to provide all the evidence needed to prove whether he is or isn't.
